From the owner

This is a beautiful new cottage constructed in 2008 and was designed by the owners as a family friendly place to get away to. It speaks for itself with most of our Summer renters being repeat customers over the last 6 years. It is built on its own private site with its own lawns, deck overlooking Eagle Lake, private sandy beach, private dock which includes a motor boat and paddle boat. There is an outdoor fire pit for those much enjoyed family evenings by the lake. The cottage is fully equiped and includes a BBQ, washing machine, dryer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, large cooker, etc.

The cottage is situated on a small quite bay off the main lake. There is a local store which stocks just about everything and Sundridge or South River are just a short drive away. Lots of off road car space. This is a beautiful area for biking, walking, forest walks, fishing, and all types of fresh water activities on Eagle Lake. Why not check out the wild life or come and just sit and listen to the beautiful loon.

While this cottage is in a beautiful country area it is still very accessable from the newly constructed 11 highway. Give your children the oppertunity to share this piece of beauty we have discovered. We treasure the comments and drawings other children have left in our comments book at the cottage.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send John (the owner) a message.

If John (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
