The nearest station, Lewisham is 7 minute walk from the apartment, with frequent trains to central London.

The South East England region
Lewisham is a lively multicultural neighbourhood which has benefited from the London 2012 Olympic developments, and an important transport hub, in south-east London. Council authorities viewed the borough, also called Lewisham, as a gateway to the Games, which took place across the river in Newham. As a result they embarked on a series of improvements that included a complete redevelopment of Lewisham town centre with new shops, restaurants, bars, houses and offices plus a park and a town square. The aim is to make the district more attractive to residents and visitors, and more competitive.
>The plans safeguarded the much-loved Lewisham Market, which currently operates in a pedestrianised section of the High Street, selling flowers, fruit and veg from Monday to Saturday and cupboard goods on Sunday. This is a busy retail district with chain stores, independent shops and a major shopping centre.
