For a short stay in the capital city, these well appointed self contained London apartments, each with two double bedrooms and individual bathrooms, are perfect because of the convenient location. The apartments, which are finished to a high level have a separate kitchen, lounge, breakfast bar or dining table, TV and internet.

A short walk through the pristinly kept Woolwich Arsenal development brings you to the newly redeveloped civic centre and new Dockland Light Rail “DLR” and Overland stations with excellent connections to London City Airport (5 Min), London Bridge (21 Min), Canary Wharf (22 Min), Bank/St Pauls (27 Min), Waterloo (27 Min), Tower Bridge (32 Min), Green Park (31 Min). Alternatively, why not try the Thames Clipper water taxi which affords some interesting views of London from the Thames and which leaves from and returns to the Royal Arsenal Woolwich , making stops at the O2 Arena “North Greenwich”, Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Bankside, Blackfriars, Embankment and London Eye.

The apartments are located on what was previously the Woolwich Arsenal Logistics site adjacent to the Royal Arsenal. The Woolwich Arsenal itself has been redeveloped into an iconic landmark development which houses the Firepower Museum, a newly opened coffee shop, the charming Dial Arch pub and Tesco convenience store all on the development.

Enjoy both excellent access to the city and luxury appointments for a fraction of West End prices.

Choose between the DLR or overland stations at Woolwich which are both within an easy walk, so going anywhere is easy.

About this location

The London region

There's nowhere quite like London, the world's leading international financial and business centre.

The London from which modern London would grow out of was first established in around AD50, seven years after the Romans invaded Britain.

Londinium (so called by the Romans) was ideally located for business. Situated on the bank of the Thames river, it soon became a bustling port and trade thrived. As business increased, tradesmen came together to form livery companies or 'guilds' – bodies that regulated their respective professions to protect both customers and their members. Many of the City's street names such as Milk Street, Bread Street, Ironmonger Lane, Poultry, Cloth Fair and Mason's Avenue mark the sites where the companies began.

Ultimately, the guilds came to yield great power and influence and the City developed a reputation as an important centre for commerce. By the early 17th century (when exploration began to open up the world and new markets were there for the picking) many guilds invested money in setting up Merchant Venturer Companies. Seeking exclusive rights of trade with different parts of the world, the most famous of these companies was the East India Company whose power lasted until well into the 19th century.

South East London

Now redeveloped for contemporary housing and community use by residential developers Berkeley Homes and Barratt Homes, the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich is most famous for it's long history of armaments manufacture, ammunition proofing and explosives research for the British armed forces. The site on the south bank of the River Thames in Woolwich south-east London, England was originally known as the Woolwich Warren, having begun on land previously used as a domestic warren in the grounds of a Tudor house, Tower Place. Much of the initial history of the site is linked with that of the Board of Ordnance, which purchased the Warren in the late 17th century in order to expand an earlier base at Gun Wharf in Woolwich Dockyard. Over the next two centuries, as operations grew and innovations were pursued, the site expanded massively; at the time of the First World War the Arsenal covered 1285 acres and employed close to 80000 people. Thereafter its operations were scaled down and finally closed as a factory in 1967 with the Ministry of Defence moving out in 1994. Today the area, so long a secret enclave, is open to the public and being rapidly redeveloped.
