From Gatwick airport:
Take the Express to Victoria and change for a train to Catford. From Heathrow airport: Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington, the Bakerloo line tube to Charing Cross and change for a train to Catford Bridge From Stanstead airport: Take the Stanstead Express to Liverpool St, Circle line tube to Embankment ,walk up hill to Charing Cross, then train to Catford Bridge.

“Nice, clean and safe” Generally the place was nice, clean, and a safe place to stay. I will stay again when I visit my daughter and her family that live in the area. Some recommendations include telling first time customers to "come prepared" with items commonly provided by a hotel. The particular unit could use a newer bed.

“Not a welcoming attitude from hosts.” South East London is a wonderfully friendly place, but the first words of our hosts was "it that your car," when told no, he simply walked away. The a-z of London was from the 80s and although the flat itself was good, there 'leave the flat as you found it policy' was taken to the extreme of us having to strip the bed, something I've never had to do elsewhere. It also meant that we couldn't leave a few condiments, suger oils, etc that we had left over for the next occupants, again something that is common practice in such establishments. Instead, the hosts had left us with some uht milk that had gone off along with a few tea bags. Perhaps, however, the biggest complaint should be regarding the beds. Old, squeaky, poor mattresses. Not a good nights sleep. Despite an acknowledged request for an expedition of the return of the deposit, that was delayed by a week. It's a shame, because the flat is well located and well presented.
