Is this apartment really on the same street as The Tower Bridge and Tower Of London? YES it is !

Dear Guests,

Welcome to London.... Allow me to tell you some things about my apartment...

Where do I begin? Location is everything !

Your Apartment is next to The Tower Bridge and The Tower of London and The River Thames. It is in The "City" Financial district, the SAFEST place to live in London. The famous "Girkin" glass building can be seen from the front communal balcony!!

Many people think it is called "The City" because it is the financial district - but it is called "The City of London" because this square mile used to be THE City of London! So there is more History here than anywhere else in London. You can still see the Roman wall that protected it and The Tower.

Just at the end of the Street in front of The Tower are the Tour Buses and London Walks (Jack the Ripper Walks etc)

Get onto the Famous South Bank River Path at the end of the Street and WALK to

The Tower Bridge

The Tower Of London

The TATE Gallery

Shakespeare's Globe

HMS Belfast

The London Eye

St Paul's Cathedral

The London Dungeon

The London Aquarium

Borough Market

Most of Europe

USA CANADA and New Zealand and Australia and Europe!!

FREE Use of a Mobile/Cell Phone that I will leave

inside the apartment for you

FREE Wi Fi/Tablet Printer You can print from your lap top or your phone !!

Over 15 Brilliant Guide Books (worth over £200 !)

There is more transport in "The City" than anywhere else in London and almost the world!

Tubes/Undergrounds are:

Tower Hill

Aldgate and Aldgate East

Liverpool Street - Fenchurch Street

Monument Tube

Bank Tube

All train and coaches finish at Liverpool Street and then I can meet you there.

No Problem! A tube direct NO CHANGES in 4 stops.

We also have around the corner Docklands Light Railway, this will take you to Greenwich and the O2 Concert Centre and also Canary Wharf.

"Hop On Hop Off" Tourist Buses, at the end of the Street, in front of The Tower!

Flat Screen TV - Fully Equipped Kitchen (Everything is brand new from last year/New Cuboards/

New Floor/New Tiles/New extractor fan/New Oven/New Fridge/New Tiles.

Wooden floors in lounge and living room and hallway and bedroom.

A Wi Fi Printer that works for your lap top or your mobile/Cell Phone !

The Lounge has the option of either roller blinds and when they are open they

allow natural light to come in...or you can pull over a separate set of net curtains if you prefer this.

We have an art deco listed office at the back of the apartment opposite (we are in the finance district)

so they are at their desks and go home at 5 or 6 and the building is empty Saturday and Sunday, so

no noisy neighbours or people playing music!

The building from the outside is perhaps not the most beautiful and the

the communal areas are cleaned every day, but still a bit dull looking! There are no chandeliers or plush carpets..

But do not let that worry you.. I have the most

lovely neighbours, incredibly safe and quiet and the apartment is immaculate and very clean.

For this price in this area, it is great value!

I would love to tell you I have a great view of The Tower Bridge..but because we are in the financial district, the views

are only of offices!! But you can see the famous "Girkin" Glass Tower from the communal balcony.

All bedding is provided and Towels!

Alarm clock.

Mirrored Wardrobe and Drawers

Unlimited Wi Fi, Umbrellas (!) This is London !

Travel Adapter, Sewing Kit, Shoe Polishing Kit,

Why not arrive in style?

Our driver will give you a little talk on the way pointing things out to you.

Please tell me your airport and the terminal and I can get a quote for you.

I offer a very personal check in. If you arrive by public transport, I give all my guests directions to

Tower Hill tube Station and I have taken a photograph of The Black Telephone Box outside the tube.

I will send you this photograph of where we will meet each other!

Then I will walk to the apartment with you...

I will show you The Supermarket, The Cash Machine, The local Buses and the other tube stations (we have many!)

Then we will go to the Apartment and I will show you around and give you your keys! Then you can relax and begin to enjoy your holiday.

If you decide to arrive with my driver.....he will also show you the area and some interesting History.

Just tell me your airport for a price.

If you prefer me to wait and show you the apartment I will....or if you prefer to check-in driver will give you the keys..

The South East England region

The City Of London (also called "The Square Mile") is the square mile where London began!

Many people think it is called "The City" because it is now a very important financial center of the world, which

is true, but the real reason is because this was the original City of London. So there is more history here than

anywhere else in London !

It is fascinating to see the modern glass "Girkin" right next to a very old Church. Or the famous Lloyds of London Building next

to the beautiful Victorian

The Tower Of London is right next to The River and this River Path will bring you to most things on your holiday list! You can WALK to:

The Tower Of London,

London Bridge,

St Paul's Cathedral,

The Tate

Shakespeare's Globe Theatre

The London Eye

The Tower Bridge

The London Aquarium

"More a house swap than a hoilday rental"

We were disappointed to find that the owner lived in the apartment and was moving out while we stayed. She was very nice but did leave cupboards/drawers still full of her personal belongings. We fel… More

Dear Guests,

The wardrobe space in the bedroom and drawers in the bedroom are empty for my guests. My clothes are behind a separate space in the hallway. You can only see them if you open a separate door because I do not spend much time in London. I rent this apartment and have things here for when I am here, but hidden. There are no personal things of mine that you can see in the rest of the apartment (see my photographs/everything you see is exactly the same when you arrive..I would not mislead my guests) anything in my kitchen is for my guests to use for free so that they do not have to spend extra money (London is expensive enough!) So I leave oils, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, pasta. freshly ground coffee, etc...this is all for free to help you, not because I did not bother to move it :-) I promise my guests I have nothing that needs bathroom was put in (brand new) in January 2014 - this year just 2 months ago (new bath, new.. extractor fan..please see the photographs and the kitchen was put in last year (new tiles/new extractor fan/new floor/fresh paint/new oven and new fridge) Again please see photographs. There are no personal things in the bathroom I provide brand new soap, new loo roll and toothpaste and new hand soap..and air freshner and bleach) there is nothing else in my bathroom..just some nice cozy candles...again what you see in the photograph is what you get! I think that the home swap is more of a compliment, as you will get EVERYTHING you have in your own home! Iron Ironing board, fully equipped kitchen etc. The Apartment is advertised as being in the financial district..or "The City Of London" so.. there are offices in the area. The roller blinds will block out any light, but to be honest, the office workers are sitting at their desks working and not looking into the apartment block...and of course this means that in the have complete privacy as they all go home at 5 or 6 O'clock. I have never seen anyone looking out the window...or I'm sure they would not keep their job for long!! I agree with Gordon, I will turn the bed around to the middle of the room so that you can get out on either side and have a bedside reading light...I did not think of this myslef as I live alone, so thank you for the feedback. all the walls are freshly painted white, with no marks (please see photos again) A London flat this Central is always going to be surrounded by other things, unless you win the lottery and get a Penthouse with no other apartments or offices overlooking it...! But of course the price becomes very different too ! We are the ONLY apartment block in the exclusive "Square Mile Financial District" and it is very rare to get an apartment here next to the Bridge and River and also protected with the highest Police officers and Police precence in Great Britain, protecting the biggest Financial Centre of the world... we are the safest people in London! It is a shame my guests felt like they were intruding because the last thing I said was "Please make yourself at home" I like to live minimilist with Ikea style, so I promise you there are no personal things, or if there are, they are hidden, because of course they are also personal to me. I am sure my next review you will see a different review or I have many reviews for this same apartment with the same title on air bnb web site "Same Street as Tower Bridge" with five star reviews. I hope to welcome you home is your home and you will not want or need anything when you are here except your food! Kindest Regards
