Home description

Forest Oak Villa is well located for trips to Central London and the South East, with just a 15 mins train to London Bridge. The Apartment is set within a large Victorian property.

It is within easy walking distance to Honor Oak Park, Forest Hill, and Catford train stations. We are also ideally located for the South East's many attractions, including Hastings, Brighton, Eastbourne and the South Coast.
There are many historical places to visit, including Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Battle (where the battle of Hastings to place).

We are happy to give advice on your arrival of where to go. Greenwich is a short distance away from the apartment, which has its markets, Royal Observatory and Maritime Museum as well as the Cutty Sark.
From Greenwich you can catch the River bus to take you either way up the river. Many stops to the London Attractions, including London Eye, Tower of London, St. Pauls Cathedral and Tate Modern. Crystal Palace is a few miles away with many restaurants and eateries.

The South East England / Greater London region

Ideally situated for easy access to M25, all airports and many attractions off the motorway. Outside of London we have within easy reach, Canterbury, Hastings, Eastbourne, Brighton can all be day trips.

Further afield the South West, New Forest and Hampshire and Devon.


South-East London / Forest Hill area

Very short distance is Greenwich, Centre of London, either by train, or boat from Greenwich. Locally Lewisham offers Leisure Centre and Ladywell Park. Blackheath is a beautiful park close to Greenwich with its Museum and Time Line. Amazing views of London Skyline. The O2 famous for its concerts is within reach of the Holiday Home.

Recently redecorated, the apartment is very clean and bright. The bathroom has shower attachment within the bath. One of the bedrooms has a french door leading to a private patio area.
Also the lounge has a french door leading to the same patio area.
The lounge has t.v. and dining area, with comfortable sofa and chairs.
Archway leads through to the fully fitted kitchen, with microwave and washing machine.
There are two steps within the hallway of the property.

There is a parking space within the property, off road. Two french doors open out from one of the bedrooms and also the lounge onto a Private patio area with garden table and chairs.

There is also a bbq for residents use, in the summer time.

Paved Patio is for the private use of this accommodation, there is also a shared garden with the other apartment within the house, which is owed by ourselves.


Conditions

This property has a no smoking policy.
Refundable breakages deposit of £100 required prior to arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
25% of rental fee due to secure booking. Rest of the rental fee and breakages deposit, due eight weeks prior to arrival.
Total of rental fee and breakages deposit required on booking, if the booking period is less than eight weeks away.

To book the holiday we require 1/3rd cost of stay. as a deposit to confirm booking and the rest of the cost 8 weeks or more before start of holiday.

For average size families, we also require returnable £100 cash deposit for each week booked, together with the 1/3rd payment, this is used against breakages. We also require on booking 10% as a deposit against the services, ie., gas electric water etc. ie If booking for one week at £400 rate £40 deposit for services, if booking for two weeks at £400 rate = £80 to go against services.

PLEASE CHECK THAT THE ABOVE DATES CORRECTLY LIASE WITH SATURDAY ARRIVALS AND LEAVING TIMES. IF THERE IS ANY CONFLICT IN THE ABOVE THEN LIASE WITH THE OWNERS SO AS TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.

This is essentially one family accommodation. If you wish to book for two families together or over four adults please check with owners for pricing.

The cost of the services in this property is 10% and is monitored and adjusted on departure.
