Lodge / 3 bedrooms / sleeps 6
A lakeside lodge with a deck that provides excellent accommodation for either a short break or longer stay. Refurbished in Nov 2013 it boasts brand new beds with a King, a double and a twin room. En-suite shower room to the Master bedroom with a family bathroom with shower. A large storage area inside the lodge where bikes, wake boards etc can be stored securely and out of the way.
Evening barbecues with the sun setting over the lake or a relaxing lunch are our favourite ways of utilising the decking area.
Enjoy the area with your pet, walking or simply lazing around.
With security on the gate and regular patrols its very family friendly. Children (and the odd adult!) enjoy the play area with wire slide, swings and 5 a side football nets. These are alongside tennis, boules and a games room, on site a few minutes walk, cycle or scoot away.
Wireless broadband included means you can dip in and out of reality.
TV and DVD are in the lodge but for sporting events we suggest the nearby Lakeside Brasserie with its big screens and family atmosphere. You will find excellent food served inside and out where you can watch the water sports in comfort whilst the more adventurous enjoy themselves immensely!
A nearby Spa with pool, sauna and steam can be available if you contact us in advance to make it a great excuse to get pampered !
For a cracking meal out we can suggest the Wild Duck Inn in Ewen or the Old Spotted Cow in Marston Meysey which are just a couple of the many excellent nearby pubs.

The Cotswolds region
Stunning Cotswolds Water Park near the Roman town of Cirencester, capital of the Cotswolds. Loved for it's chocolate box villages, friendly pubs, award winning restaurants and family friendly activities in the beautiful surrounding countryside . Easy access to Bristol, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Bath and Oxford to name a few and just 90 mins from London by road & less than 60minutes by rail from London.
The local area provides easy access to many sporting and leisure activities including sailing, wake boarding by both boat and cable, waterskiing, ringo riding, horse riding and clay pigeon shooting. The more peaceful pastimes of fishing, cycling, golfing, walking, birdwatching or just relaxing are also just on the doorstep. The lodge is situated on a tranquil well stocked carp lake with trout available on nearby lakes. For more info see http://www.waterpark.org
Nearby attractions include historical Bath, boutique shopping in Cheltenham, Cribbs Causeway in Bristol. The beautiful villages of the Cotswolds are close including Bibury, Burford, Bourton on the Water and Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh.
Antiques fairs, farmers markets and auctions are prevalent.
The cycling is excellent with flat countryside surrounding the property but challenging hills available within only 5 miles. Mountain biking is excellent in the Forest of Dean with easier family friendly trails available on National Cycle Route 45.
Other attractions include the Vale of the White Horse, Bird World, Cotswold Wildlife Park and the Royal International Air Tattoo...
