"Watch Out For Losing Security Deposits"

This is the second time I have stayed in this property and on each occasion I have been deducted large chunks of my security deposit for so called "extra cleaning costs" When i complained ab… More

On this occasion this guest was offered a FULL REFUND of the security deposit even though we incurred additional costs to return our property back to its original state – this guest did not accept this offer.

This guest actually threatened to write a bad Trip advisor review if we didn't return the deposit (evidence can be provided in emails). We would never dream of manipulating our customer reviews – we have hundreds of positive reviews that's can all be seen on our website. Customers are paramount to our business therefore we do everything we can to ensure they are happy.

If on the very rare occasion our cleaning team have to spend extra time in the property because it is left in a very poor state then this cost will be deducted from the security deposit. We are pleased to say that the majority of our guests respect our property like their own home and leave it as they find it.

If a problem occurs during your stay we aim to rectify it immediately however we also do not like to intrude into your holiday and therefore only enter the property for maintenance issues on the guests request or if the issue poses a safety concern. On this occasion the guests did not request the toilet seat to be re-fitted during their stay – there are 2 bathrooms with toilets for guests to use.

We pride ourselves in ensuring there are no hidden costs for our customers and do not charge a booking or credit card fee – we are also cheaper than our competitors as we are independently run and always ensure we are offering value for money and a personal service.

Last year this guest left a glowing review:

'Our stay was wonderful thank you, it's so much nicer to come back to a house than an hotel room of an evening.'
