Delfin 2 is a lovely, bright, two bedroom duplex spread over two floors, all the rooms enjoy views of Sotogrande Marina. With two terraces and garden area you have plenty of space to spread out and enjoy dining in the shade or soaking up the sun.
The beach is at the end of the street (2 mins walk) and the tennis club is within easy strolling distance. The Sotogrande area offers stylish beach clubs, restaurants and bars, golf courses(4 within 5 minutes drive), sailing and kayak hire plus the new Blue Sotogrande shopping complex due to open in 2009 and attracting exclusive brands.
Sotogrande is the exclusive address on the west end of the Costa del Sol - the magical towns and cities of Rhonda, Tarifa, Seville, Cadiz and Jerez are within easy driving distance and Gibraltar is worth a visit if only to spend some pounds and a taste of the (rather strange) british enclave.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Sotogrande is on the West end of the Costa Del Sol and far away from the very crowded tourist areas. Marbella and Puerta Banus are probably about as far East as you will want to go. Of course Malaga (Old Town) and Granada (The Alhambra Palace) are more than worth a visit. To the West and inland lie numerous wonderful attractions and places of real interest.
The climate on the Costa del Sol makes it a year round tourist destination - temperatures in January are regularly 20 degrees. An average of more than 300 sunny days a year are enjoyed in this area.
Sotogrande / Sotogrande Marina area
A trip to Morocco could be part of your holiday plans - there are ferries from Algeciras and Tarifa. Cadiz (Puerto Santa Maria) is a magical place and if visiting is your thing then Seville is a must. Jerez is well worth seeing too as well as the wonderful beaches and dunes of the Atlantic coast.
Costa del Sol is not called Costa de Golf for no reason! Valderrama, San Roque, La Reserva, Almenera and Sotogrande itself are all within ten minutes drive maximum. Play some of the most renowned courses in Europe - they are on your door step!
How to get there
Nearest Airport is Gibraltar but many more flight options to Malaga. The motorway offers a 70 minute transfer to Sotogrande and is not at all arduous.
Numerous car hire companies at the airport. I have good experience of Goldcar Rental. They have automatic full comprehensive insurance so you don't need to worry at all about the inevitable dings and dents that are a standard part of driving in Spain!

Further details indoors: The two bedrooms and sofa bed can be augmented with two folding beds suitable for children if required. The property is not suitable for a party of 8 adults. The sofa bed is in addition to the two lounge sofas and the shower room is off the sitting room which effectively creates a further en suite to the sofa bed. There is secure underground parking and additional street parking. The Sotogrande complex enjoys high levels of security and the grounds and gardens are maintained to a very high standard. The property also offers a 12M mooring just outside - please alert the property manager if this facility is of interest to you. The TV is cable and carries a number of English channels.
