Home description

This beautifully furnished and contemporary apartment has a fabulous feel to it.

The front line water position adds to the feeling of quality you get from spending time here. The spacious balconies, especially the one overlooking the marina, with give you hours of pleasure just sat taking in the stunning views of the waterways.

The apartment is part of the exclusive 'Sotogrande Marina Club', which has a reception, club staff on hand to assist you with anything you need, and services that will truly enhance your holiday experience. Golf can be booked at reception, along with car hire. We also offer a private airport shuttle service, please contact me for prices.

Although kids will love the property, I would say that it is more suited to couples and in particular golfers and boat lovers. The Sotogrande area really is a golfers paradise.

You will feel so relaxed that you will not want to leave!!

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The Costa del Sol region most definitely has a tranquil, 'Spanish' feel to it. The location of the Front Line Water apartment gives you varied options for golf, shopping, nighlife, sporting activities and generally 'chilling' out.

This really is a golfers dream, perfect location and the apartment is a perfect base.

With an abundance of bars and restaurants nearby, the Sotogrande area is a place to relax and unwind as well as enjoy yourself to the full.

The area benefits from all year round sunshine, even January temperatures can reach 20 degrees.

There are many places of interest to visit, including Selwo Safari Park and Algeciras Water Park, both fantastic for kids, the famous Rock of Gibraltar which is popular for duty free goods only 25KM away, and also the popular Puerto Banus only half an hour away, the exclusive marina known for its buzzing night-life.


Sotogrande / Sotogrande Marina area

Sotogrande is internationally renowned as Europe's most prestigious country estate, luxurious in every way.

Its 4,400 acres stretch from the Mediterranean's sandy beaches a few miles east of Gibraltar, back into the foothills of Sierra Almenara providing a contrast of vistas of sea, hills, cork forests and green fairways.

Famous for its stylishly designed property, idyllic Marina and exclusive golf resorts, Sotogrande has become a charming place to live and enjoy a warm climate throughout the seasons.

All imaginable facilities can be found, beach clubs, restaurants, shops and banks, it has everything.

Just up the coast is the popular Duquesa marina, with bars and restaurants in abundance, Duquesa is more tailored to families, busy nightlife during the summer, varied dining choices.

An airport shuttle is now available, from Malaga Airport, please contact me for details and prices, perfect for those who do not wish to hire a car.

You can fly to Malaga from the majority of UK airports, I always use either Monarch, EasyJet or Jet2, a good web-site to use to look for flights is www.skyscanner.net, gives you the prices quickly from various airports, its really easy to use.

Gibraltar Airport is very handy, only 25 minutes drive, shuttle available from this airport also.

I will forward simple directions to the Marina Club, and the Club reception are on hand to give you directions over the phone if necessary.

For car hire, I recommend Sixt Rent a Car. Their web-site is www.sixt.com, the service is second to none. One of their reps meet you at arrivals, a mini bus takes you straight to their office, only a two minute drive away, and within minutes you are on the road.

Local Taxi numbers are available on request, reception at the club can also phone for taxis during your stay.

An Andalucia info sheet is available for anyone who doesn't know the area, and during your stay the staff at the Marina Club are on hand at all times if you should have any questions.

The interior furnishings are amazing, leather sofas, plasma TV, marble floors throughout, and tasteful decor all add to the special feel this apartment has.There are two spacious balconies, I imagine you will only use the one with the waters edge view, it is magnificent, perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks.

A fully equipped, modern kitchen will certainly impress you, it has such a 'cool' feel to it, everything you need is installed.

The modern furnishings make the property suitable for classy dinner parties, entertaining clients, romantic evenings, or just evenings spoiling yourself!

Both bedrooms are gorgeous, furnished to the highest standards, wonderful en suite bathrooms.

1 sofa bed in the lounge, sleeps 2, perfect for kids!

Further details outdoors:
The overall development of 'Ribera del pez Luna' looks fantastic, stylish landscaping, lawns at the side of the waters edge are communal.

There is a pool, it is located at the end of the development, it is however quite small, with a few sun loungers at the side. Not really suitable for lengths!

The apartment has a security intercom, giving it a very safe feel.

Sotogrande beach is only 500m away, fantastic water side cafe restaurant only 5 minutes walk away.

From street level, there is a parking space next to the development, you go up a small flight of steps to a grand glass entrance. There is then a lift to the apartment.

Although this apartment is to rent the owners use it often themselves, so we ask holidaymakers to treat it respectfully.

Welcome baskets are available at €49, with everything you would need included from wine to chocolate croissants!


Conditions

Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.

We ask for a 25% deposit of the full rental fee when booking, to secure the dates. The balance is required 6 weeks prior to departure (plus bond).

A refundable breakages bond of £200 is required, to be paid along with the balance, 6 weeks prior to departure. This will be refunded within two weeks of the keys being returned (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

Keys are to be collected at the development on arrival.

There is a lift in the apartment building providing wheelchair access.

The change over day is flexible, in most cases we ask guests to vacate the property at 11am on the day of departure if there is another party booked on the same day.

Please be aware that due to the increasing amount of enquiries for this property, bookings cannot be held without a deposit.

Bookings of less than 5 nights a cleaning fee of £45 will be charged.

Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer in GBP or EUROS. For credit card payments Paypal is available however a 3.4% fee is charged.
