Villa in Sorrento Amalfi Coast including pool.
Take your dream vacation at La Cartolina Residence, a luxurious villa equipped with every comfort and beautiful views of Sorrento, Amalfi.
The villa also has stunning views of Vesuvio, Napoli .

Villa built on three levels: On the first level there is a double bedroom en-suite with shower, another bedroom with 4 beds ,one double and two single or 4 single, en-suite with shower.Both bedrooms have a terrace/solarium with sea view equipped with sun beds and sun umbrella The second level there is: living room with sofas, fire place, dining area, two large panoramic terraces equipped with sun beds, tables, chairs and sun umbrellas. A double bedroom ( en-suite) with bath tub and shower .On the third level there are: 4 double bedrooms (or twin) (en-suite with shower) with sea and garden views , air conditioning/heating, safety boxes and direct access to the panoramic garden .

All bedrooms have access to one of the panoramic terraces. The villa has spacious kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, large pantry and laundry area with washing machine, iron and ironing board and a second bathroom. From the kitchen there is access to one of the terraces which provides a wonderful backdrop to your delicious " al fresco" meals. The garden is equipped with a wooden gazebo furnished with benches and tables where delicious breakfasts, made with typical local products, are served.

The villa has parking on-site, with access via a short path, through a wooded area.

The Campania region

Campania always has a mild climate, that has made its panoramas rich in beautiful colours. The sea is the element that characterizes the coast, long 440 kilometers it is it always varies, composed from numerous inlets, gulves, beaches, caves, bluffs and bays.

Sorrento / Sorrentine Peninsula area

La Cartolina is situated 10 minutes from the city of Sorrento. Continuing in the direction of Sant’Agata sui due Golfi, you will enter the beautiful tree-lined promenade leading to the enchanted countryside where the Residence is situated and soon arrive in the “il Deserto” locality.

Although it was built in a peaceful location, La Cartolina is just a few minutes from the lovely village of Sant’Agata, a short and pleasant walk away, where you can taste the delicious cuisine of one of Europe’s most famous restaurants: "Don Alfonso".

Sant'Agata has played host to famous authors, musicians and poets, attracted by the extremely varied and enchanting landscapes that can be enjoyed here among the nature and wholesome fresh air. The beautiful and peaceful little town is not only a destination for discerning tourists in search of tranquillity, clean air and traditional dining, but also enjoys a privileged position, being just a few minutes from all the most famous tourist spots of the Sorrento and Amalfi coastline.

Once in Sorrento Centre, the train station for Pompei and Herculaneum is very close by, as is the harbour with the hydrofoils for the island of Capri and Ischia and Naples, and the very convenient bus service for Positano (10 km away) and Amalfi. From Positano, it is just 20 minutes to the beautiful, ancient village of Ravello, home of poets and antiquarians, with its gardens and wonderful eighteenth century villas on the cliff overlooking the sea.

If you love shopping, socializing, bars and exclusive restaurants, Sorrento is the ideal place for you. The only problem will be choosing between them. 7 km away is the sea and the bay of Nerano, with its enchanting beaches and romantic restaurants, some of which are on jetties, suspended over the water, where you will find the best fish and shellfish dishes of the Sorrento Peninsula.

How to get there

By car :From Highway A/3 Napoli - Salerno go towards Naples until theCastellammare di Stabia exit. Take the Castellammare di Stabia exit and continue on SS 145 for about 23 Km, continue through various different towns before arriving in Sorrento (Vico Equense, Meta, Piano di Sorrento and Sant'Agnello). Sorrento is approximately 48 kilometers from Naples and is about a 1 hour drive without traffic. Once you arrive at Capo di Sorrento turn onto the Nastro Verde to get to Sant'Agata sui due Golfi. Then follow the signs for Deserto where our staff will be waiting to welcome you warmly at the time previously scheduled over the phone.

By plane:From the “ARRIVALS” terminal at the Naples Capodichino airport, Curreri buses are available daily to take you to the Sorrentine Peninsula. The ticket costs about 7 Euro and the drive is a little less than an hour. From the airport you can also take advantage of the taxi services or numerous other sorrentine transportation companies with rates ranging from between 70 and 100 Euros. Buses, taxis and shuttles can take you from the airport to the Circumvesuviana station in Naples.

Hello Stefania,

I apologize for not thanking you sooner, but as we arrived home our tourist season began and our Villa has been extremely busy. Anyway, I wanted to thank you very very much for such wonderful hospitality. The girls, Anna Maria, Dorina, etc. are just delightful people and you are a wonderful hostess. Arthur's birthday dinner turned out just the way it would have been if we had it at home. The house was so comfortable, I could have stayed and not come home.... When we left you, we went to Capri to stay at the Ceasar Agusta Hotel in Ana Capri. We had a beautiful suite overlooking the water and we also had a fabulous dinner at the Palace Hotel. As grand and chic as they both are, I would still prefer to stay at La Cartolina.

We will always recommend you to our friends and hotel guests that when traveling to Campagnia. And let us know if you open any more houses...

It´s a really beautiful place to stay. We have to thanks to Stefania for the warm wellcoming. Try to get there with a little car, because the roads are very narrow. Let them recomend you what to do during your stay. We will go back again. Visit the nearest village like ravello, marina de cantore or Capri.

Short vacation,intention to enjoy beautiful nature at sorrento peninsula and to visit some historical places arround Naples. Breakfast is very good,containing different things,fresh fruits,muesli,coffee and milk,various chees and salami sorts.eggs in several ways are also offered.

Had a wonderful stay at La Cartolina Residence. Great place if you like spotless rooms, beautiful views and tranquility. Our hostess was gracious and our breakfast lady, Annamaria, always greeted us with a smile. If you enjoy good hard hiking, try the climb up from Sorrento. Very challenging. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn''t mind a fifteen-minute walk into the lovely little village of Sant''Agata and who enjoys peace, quiet and fresh air. (The bus service to Amalfi and Sorrento is excellent by the way) Thanks Stefania, Annamaria and Evelyn!
