Home description

The house has a lovely panoramic view of the Gulf of Naples and Vesuvium. Lemon and orange trees surronding the house make our guest quite and make them fall in love with nature.

"Azienda Agricola Barone" house is just at 800 m from the centre, 4 km from the centre of Sorrento, is outside the resort, in a quiet, sunny position, 2.1 km from the beach, on a side street, in the green.

The house is 230 m2 on 2 levels, partly renovated in 2006, comfortable and antique furnishings: 1 double bedroom with shower/bidet/WC. 1 double bedroom. 2 rooms, each room with 2 beds. Kitchen (oven). Hip bath/bidet/WC.

Sorrento area

Sorrento, how many definitions have been ascribed to this locality, one of the most well-known international tourist sights. Sorrento,native city of the poet Torquato Tasso, who was born here in 1544; kind Sorrento; Sorrento: land of colours; Sorrento: land of the Mermaids; Sorrento, the city of the orange and lemon groves, etc.

Each one of these definitions contains the truth because Sorrento is indeed a very pretty little city where kindness and hospitality are a combination that is handed down from one generation to the next. Sorrento, not to be rhetorical, is indeed the land of colours: brilliant or delicate hues depending on the change of the seasons.

If you just pause a moment to observe how emotional a sunset can be when you gaze in the direction of Punta del Capo, of Ischia or Procida, the outlines of which can be seen clearly, you will be amazed by the variety of colours and the beauty of the scene. Or look, preferably from the sea, towards the majestic ridge of tuff rock that changes colour at every hour of the day.

On the lower ground floor: living/dining room with 1 double sofa bed, open fireplace, dining table and TV, exit to the garden. Kitchen (4 hotplates, oven) with dining table. Shower/bidet/WC.

Large terrace. Terrace furniture, deck chairs. Lovely panoramic view of the sea, the countryside and the resort. Facilities: washing machine. Please note: only 1 dog accepted. The ground floor kitchen has a wood-burning stove for baking Neapolitan pizza.

Grocers, supermarket 400 m, restaurant 1 km, bar, bus stop 400 m, railway station "Meta di Sorrento" 1 km. Sandy beach 2.1 km.

Please note: the owner lives in the same grounds. NB: The last 250 m of the access road are steep and narrow, suitable for cars with low-medium cylinders. Narrowest street width 1.8 m.

A well-behaved dog or a cat is allowed. 50 euro per week.

Refundable breakages deposit of 200 euro required on arrival, to be refunded at the end of holiday (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
