Villa del Pino is a splendid villa with a private swimming-pool, terraces, garden and an outstanding view of the sea. It is composed of 3 independent and well furnished apartments, 2 apartments (A, B) are situated on the ground floor and 1 ( C ) on the first floor. The weekly rental period stars from Saturday to Saturday. It is located in Piano di Sorrento, which is halfway between Positano and Sorrento and about 6 km (approximately 3.8 miles) away from both towns.
From the main road that connect Sorrento to Positano, you will reach the villa trough a private road of 500 meters. On this private road, outside the villa, you can leave your car. From the private road you enter into the villa area trough a stair of 20 steps and you reach the terrace where is situated the pool from where you have a nice view of the coast.

Villa il Pino is situated in an area where there are no noises and you will not find tourist crowds, nor tourist shops but where you will taste the authentic local life of the Amalfi and Sorrento Coast.
Just 2 minutes walking from the Villa there is a good furnished market where you can buy everything you need, milk, bread, wines, etc, while 5 minutes by car you find a lovely restaurant where taste the typical cuisine of Amalfi and Sorrento Coast.
Villa il Pino is an ideal place to stay for anyone who desires a relaxing holiday in contact with nature in an area with only few tourists but at the same time who wants to be near the places of high tourist interest, such as Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento, Capri and Pompei.
From the Villa you only take 15 minutes to reach Positano or Sorrento, from where it is possible to take a ferry boat to visit the coast by sea or to reach the island of Capri and the others in the Gulf of Naples, or you can get a bus to reach Positano, Amalfi or Ravello, or the train for Pompei.
Sorrento / Piano di Sorrento area
The wild and rocky Amalfi coast is full of sharp stones and pinnacles and declines towards the sea. Using these stones and pinnacles, the hand of man has for centuries obtained, the terracing upon which the people of Amalfi lie (they look like they hang onto the cliffs) along with a series of terraces with olive, citrus and vine trees. The trip from Positano to Amalfi offers vast panoramas including a beautiful panorama of the island of Capri . One of the most characteristic fjords found along the Amalfi Coast is the Vallone di Praia, a fjord that can be descended by following a path formed by rock and arriving at a gracious little beach with a limpid and not yet contaminated sea.
POSITANO The splendid gorge in which Positano is found, can be reached from the ‘Nastro Azzurro’ (main road 163). On the road trip, one can admire beautiful landscape. The roads are very windy with tight curves that follow the course of the mountain and wedge into the rocks. Along the last stretch you come to a panoramic viewpoint from which you can see the picturesque town. Positano consists of a group of white, pink and orange houses with spherical caps that decline towards the sea, connected by alleys and narrow staircases. CAPRI This is one of the most famous pearls of the Tyranean Sea . It was once the residence of roman emperors including Tiberio and Augusto. Today, the so-called ‘piazzetta’ is a meeting place for artisans and famous people from all over the world. From the top of Mount Solaro one can see the whole island including its rocks that stretch out and the delightful vegetation that declines towards the deep blue sea.
How to get there
When coming from the North, take the highway for Naples and take the Naples tollgate exit, without taking the exit for Salerno. Continue going straight, avoiding driving through the city, and take the Naples-Pompei-Salerno road. If you are coming from the South take the Naples-Pompei-Salerno highway in the opposite direction. In both cases you must take the exit for Castellammare di Stabia and continue straight onto the elevated road that bring you to the coast, avoiding passing through the centre of Castellamare and the centre of Vico Equense.
Once you’ve arrived in Sorrento continue straight and before going to the plain of Sorrento, take the road for Amalfi, which is found on the left. Continue uphill until an intersection of three roads; one road is the one from which we are arriving, one goes downhill towards Positano and Amalfi and another, on the right is the one that goes up towards S.Agata dei due Golfi. At this intersection, on the left there is an inn (to Luisona) and on the right there is a restaurant (Il Convento), in front there is a clothing store. Beside this restaurant there is an entrance gate to a private road called Parco Belvedere. Villa del Pino can be reached following the road for about a hundred metres until the end of the road.
