"Remote, but fantastic way to experience Italian lifestyle"

Our 3 families thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa. The property provided an excellent base for exploring Sorrento and the surrounding area. The villa was well equipped and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Angelo and Gina who kept us well supplied with local produce and liqueur. The pool area was a wonderful place in which to relax and the views across the bay were fantastic.
We all had a brilliant time staying here and would recommend this property to future guests.

"Good accommodation in a lovely friendly village with great views"

Villa Celentano is perfectly placed in the mountain village of Ticciano and offers a good standard of self catering accommodation run by the friendliest of families. Nothing is too much trouble for them, even to the point of opening the adjacent shop on our Sunday arrival to ensure we had sufficient supplies.
The village itself lies in the mountain behind the town of Vico Equense and is accessible by a frequent bus service from the Circumvesuvia rail station. (Circular Destra & Sinestra buses). We had hired a mini bus from Naples Airport as we planned to visit friends and family further afield, but for visiting all areas of the Sorrento Peninsula we used the bus and train service, cheap and efficient, plus you don't have to experience the squeeky bum cheeks when driving the mountain roads, they can be very narrow and difficult to negotiate if you aren't familiar.
A thoroughly enjoyable holiday and will definitely return.
Tip: try the pizza's or steak from the nearby pizzeria, you won't be disappointed.
