About the home

The position of Villa Amolu with private above-ground swimming pool, ocean view is really enviable and quiet; it is disposed on two levels: you enter the villa from an ample patio with ocean view and equipped with table, chairs, sunbeds and deckchairs. On the first level you have a large living-room with fireplace and dining area, a kitchen and a double bedroom with bathroom; on the second level with internal steps wich you can reach a small single room, a bathroom and a twin bedroom having access to a panoramic terrace.
The villa is situated in the middle of a cultivated area...surrounded by flowers and mediterranean plants and it's terraces, barbecue and gardens overlooking the sea and the islands of the gulf make it ideal for your breakfasting and special dining in the open air. It is located at about 550 mt. from the village centre and about 10 minutes drive from Sorrento Town centre plus Positano or some of the most lovely beaches of Marina del Cantone or the Amalfi coastline are within a short distance.

Conditions

Reservation; the following penalties are applied:
1. If cancellation is notified from the 90° to the 60° day prior to arrival date, the 30% booking fee will be withheld.
2. If cancellation is notified from the 59° to the 30° day prior to arrival date, penalty will be the 80% of the total
amount quoted for the stay.
3. If cancellation is notified from the 29° day up to arrival day or no-show, penalty fee will be 100% of the total
amount quoted for the stay.
Cancellations should be notified by e-mail or by fax and will be countersigned by us and sent back to you to
confirm that we are aware of the cancellation.

The Sorrento, Campania / Central Sorrento area

Sorrento has always been one of the greatest attractions in Southern Italy. The structure of the old centre of Sorrento and some archaeological remains make us think it was a Greek city or at least it was heavily influenced by the Greeks.

Marina Piccola that is an important shunting station: more than the third part of all international tourists travelling in the Gulf of Naples pass on this harbour. Sorrento has been able to propose itself as the centre of a larger touristic area, giving hospitality also to those want to visit the near localities of Capri, Pompeii, Herculaeum, Positano and Amalfi Coast with daily excursions or by hydrofoil, bus or train. Near the harbour of Marina Piccola there are the bathing establishments of Sorrento; Piazza Tasso (Main Square) with famous Restaurants, Bar, Pub, Shops, is the unavoidable crossroads to reach every place in Sorrento and the characteristic sorrentine little lanes, which represent the heart of the shopping centre and of the old town; Marina Grande (Large Marina), which was the only seafaring village in Sorrento until the 15th century; The Cloister of San Francesco next to the public garden and the Correale Museum.
