The Campania region

CAPRI:

Lush, extraordinary, mild climate.

Capri is the Mediterranean island that has seen over the centuries by intellectuals, artists and writers, all enthralled by its magical beauty.

A mix of history, nature, life, culture, events, who meet here every day and that gave birth to the myth of Capri, a legend without equal in the world.

POMPEI:

In 1997, UNESCO declared Pompei a “World Heritage Site” based on cultural criteria and in consideration of the extraordinary finds from the ancient city of Pompeii, Herculaneum and neighboring cities, buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. This is a complete and living testimony of society and everyday life in a moment of the past; cannot find their equivalent anywhere in the world.

SORRENTO:

Discover the history of Sorrento, a small town known throughout the world and true hospitality center of the province of Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Discover every hidden corner, full of history. Discover the many tourist activities that there are in town. The shows, the food, the churches, the traditions, the history, colors, nature, artisan will leave you with unforgettable memories and you will not disagree with the famous song "Torna a Surrient!"

POSITANO:

Positano is a town of 4000 inhabitants in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. Thanks to the mild climate and the beauty of the landscape, Positano has been a resort since the days of the Roman Empire, as attested by the discovery of a villa and more recent discoveries, dating to 2004. Typical of the many "steps" from the country that come down to the beach. The main beaches are the “Spiaggia Grande” and the beach of “Fornillo”, both within walking distance, others are La Porta, Arienzo and Laurito, all accessible mainly by boat starting from Positano. It is also famous for his fashion.

ERCOLANO:

Destroyed with Pompeii in 79 AD, was rediscovered in 1709. Residential town without Pompei's commercial importance, surrounded by the villas of wealthy Romans, when the catastrophe of 79 AD Herculaneum was submerged under a torrent of mud and lava that hardened into a soft tufa, keeping intact many objects and many wooden parts of houses, which still can be seen today. However, much of the ancient city is still buried under the modern city, and even today excavations in search of other treasures lying.

AMALFI:

The Amalfi Coast (here called “Costiera”) and Amalfi are part of one of the most spectacular travel in Europe through stunning scenery. Starting from Sorrento, through breathtaking scenery overlooking the sea you will reach Amalfi after about 30 km, one of the four Italian Maritime Republics and birthplace of Flavio Gioia, the inventor of the 'compass'. At the center of Amalfi stands the imposing IX-century cathedral., With its famous striking façade decorated with gilded XIX-century mosaics.

From Amalfi is easy to visit another beautiful and famous tourist destination, Ravello.

RAVELLO:

Its villas "Rufolo" and "Cimbrone" are famous worldwide. Probably founded by the Romans in the sixth century, arrived between those mountainous areas considering them a good shelter to escape the ravages of the barbarians vandalism, the earliest record of Ravello goes back to the ninth century. From this village you can enjoy one of the most spectacular view of the entire Amalfi Coast.

NAPOLI:

Naples is located in A central position on the gulf, between Vesuvius and the volcanic area of Campi Flegrei in a scenario called "one of the most celebrated and beautiful in the world." Its vast artistic and architectural heritage is protected by UNESCO, whose commissions have included since 1995, the historic center of Naples between the sites of the World Heritage Site. Naples is the third administrative unit in population after Rome and Milan, with 962,447 inhabitants, while its metropolitan area, depending on the data to which it refers, is between 3 and 5 million people.

"The most picturesque sunset ever seen from a private terrace facing Capri"

A wonderful place for perfect relax. One of the most amazing views I have ever experienced was from the huge terrace of this villa. It was directly facing Capri and the view was just stunning. We could sit there hours doing nothing but enjoying the sea view, the gentle breez and listening to the waves hitting the rocks. If I will definitely remember something from this vacation even after long years, it will be the sunset watching from the terrace and night star - gazing. The best way how to take the at most of this is to open a bottle of Prosecco and just watch:-) The property has a great potential situated not far from Sorrento in a hidden and quite part of Massa, a perfect hide-away for couples. A car is a must, especially if you want to make the most of your stay and visit Pompei, Herculaneum, Positano, Sorrento, Napoli and the other places worth seeing. The villa is furnished in an authentic way, just fitting there. The renters have been very nice, welcoming us warmly and informing us not only about the property but also on what is worth doing around, topping it up with a bottle of home made lemon liqueur waiting in the fridge. To make the most out of your visit on the Sorrento and Amalfi coast and Capri, it is the best to rent a motor boat. It is one of the most beautiful coasts I have ever seen with attractive scenery underlined with nice colorful houses set on the rocks. I have been in love with Italy already for years, but this holiday made me even more. I would definitely recommend!

Thank you so much for choosing our property and for your nice review! It was really a pleasure for us!
