A delightful house with a spacious terrace for lunch and sunbathing with a lovely view, especially at sunset. Situated in Sant'Agata sui due golfi, in the centre of the Sorrento Peninsula that lies between the Gulf of Salerno and the Gulf of Naples. An ideal position for trips to the mountains, to the sea and the most famous tourist spots of the area: Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Capri, Vesuvio, and the archaeological sites Pompeii, Ercolano, Paestum

You cannot be fouled to be impressed by this explosion of colours, sounds and flavours and by its lively, friendly and hospitable population

The Sorrento, Campania / Sorrentine Peninsula area

The house is situated in Sant' Agata sui Due Golfi (390m above sea level) about 8 Km from Sorrento. It's one of the pearls in the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno facing Capri. Perched on a hill it offers a series of views over the sea and the two bays. Etruscans, Greeks and Romans were enchanted by the beauties for centuries.

During the "Grand Tour" this place was one of the most favourite stops. Today Sant'Agata sui due Golfi is a very popular summer resort and an excellent centre for many excursions. Nowadays it's famous for its parish church, the monastery of Deserto, its natural beauties, archaeological ruins, the Don Alfonso restaurant and several trails along the coast and inland.

By PLANE
Naples' Capodichino Airport is the closest airport to Anna’s terrace and is about 60 km from Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi. From the terminal take a Curreri bus for Sorrento (departures at 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.) and get off at the end of the line(sorrento), from there take a SITA bus for Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi. Get off at Sant'Agata, after about fifteen minutes.
BY TRAIN
From all directions, arrive at the main train station of Naples. From there take the Naples (Napoli) - Sorrento Circumvesuviana train. Get off at Sorrento, the end of the line, and take a SITA bus for Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi. Get off at Sant'Agata.
BY CAR
From any direction, take freeway A3 Napoli - Salerno, towards Penisola Sorrentina and exit at Castellamare di Stabia. Continue on SS 145 towards Sorrento. Once in Sorrento, stay on SS145 for Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi.

I had the pleasure of staying at this Villa for a week in November 2007. First of all Gennaro and Anna and very gracious and warm. The Villa is lovely with a terrace and a view that was spectacular. My group was loaded with people who love to cook and eat and the kitchen was amazing to work in - plenty of space. I would highly recommend this Villa to everyone and if I could afforded I would make this my annual vacation spot.

"We rented " Il terrazzo di Anna ". The apartment was furnished and equipped beyond our expectations. Everything was splotless clean. The vew of Capri ( especialy at sunset) was incredible from our very big terrace. We appreciated very much the greeting from Anna. There was a bottle of wine and two glasses on the table at our arriving. It made us feel very welcome. We even had the pleasure of tasting her delecious tomatoes in a jar. Anna was very helpful, especialy when I locked myself out of the apartement with no keys. Anna, thank you for everything."

Date of Stay: April 2010

Our family of four had a marvelous time in this beautiful flat. Immaculate, spacious, comfortable...we couldn't ask for more. The view from the terrace is spectacular, and access to the charming little town of St Agata is a quick drive or easy walk. The hosts are wonderful -- Anna made us a traditional Easter pie (delicious) and Josie, the daughter, helped us with our computer. The family is lovely, and was there to help with anything we needed. Shopkeepers speak at least some English, so we were able to buy the basics and cook a bit in the huge kitchen. Don't miss Mimi's restaurant in town - in a 4 day stay we went there twice. Staying here was so much better than being in crowded, touristy Sorrento itself. We would recommend this to people of any age, whether for a family or romantic vacation. We would definitely return!

All in a word: FABULOUS!!!!!!
Anna, the owner, is a special person, the large house is really clean, provided with everything you need, with a wonderful landscape of Capri from the very delightful terrace and with a well-appreciated parking even if the area of Sant'Agata is really safe, an oasis of peace and quite. The location is in an ideal position to visit the Coast and all the other attractions of the two Gulfs of Salerno and Naples. Highly recommended for your next travel!

I stayed here with my wife and two teenage daughters in July 2011 and it was the perfect location for us. With the small car that we hired we were able to travel to both the Amalfi Coast and the Bay of Naples, and on the days that we didn't want to go too far, found Sant' Agata to be a peaceful small town to relax in. Nice places to eat and drink for all budgets and great fresh produce if you want to buy your own. It has a really friendly community feel. The terrace is perfect for relaxation - giving you the choice of all day sun or some shaded areas if you need to cool down a little. The property itself is clean and very well cared for, and both Anna and Gennaro couldn't have been more helpful to us during our stay. We were severely delayed due to a flight problem, but Gennaro guided us safely to the apartment despite our lateness. If you don't have a car then you can bus to Sorrento for regular trains around the Bay of Naples, and there are lots of buses along the Amalfi Coast too. I would happily recommend this, or any of their other properties as they were so helpful I have every confidence in them.

A true home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay, the appartment was fantastic. The owners were extremly friendly and helpful. The village was a short stroll and very quaint. Easy to get to Sorrento and Positano by car. We would highly recommend this accomodation and location to our friends and relatives. Thanks for making our stay in Sant' Agata so memorable.
