About the home

This unique rental property lies between Sorrento and Massa Lubrense, an ideal location for visiting the region both towards Sorrento, Pompei and Naples, and towards the Amalfi Coast.
The house, accessed by its own private gate, is a portion of a nineteenth century villa which has been completely renovated. The house has been furnished with excellent taste by its young owners; from the furniture to the lamps, everything comes from the best-known European designers.

One of the main feature of this house is the amazing 180° panorama that can be enjoyed both from the living-rooms and from the large private terraces that surround them, as well as from the beds of the bedrooms you can enjoy an amazing view of Capri Island. The dazzling white of the house and the blue of the sea in the panoramic backdrop are the two colors that strike visitors to this house, a perfect refuge after a day-trip around the area.

The property is developed on two floor: on the ground floor is the large living room with access to the terrace furnished with sunbed, sunumbrella ,table and chairs,; kitchen ; 1 double bedroom, en-suite bathroom with shower. On the first floor is a bathroom with bathtub, and a double bedroom with access to a panoramic terrace. There is air conditioning in all the rooms.

Casa Mariavittoria rental rules:
All prices are in euro; rentals are inclusive of maid service once a week ( the saturday no mid week).
Price includes final cleaning, parking, linen and towels, gas and electricity (first 100kw included in rental price , more of 100 if needed the cost of each KW is euro 0.35 per kw, to be paid at check out).

Security deposit: Euro 500, 00 (paid locally by cash either in $ or £) at the time of arrival.
The security deposit will be refunded upon departure subject to any deductions for damage.
Upon arrival at the Villa the property owner will ask you to present a copy of your passport and pay the security deposit.

Conditions

-Payments procedures?Upon confirmation  you will be requested to pay 30% of the total amount required for the booking, the rest 60 days prior date of arrival. For bookings made less than 60 days before arrival the client must pay immediately the whole amount.
The booking deposit is required in Euro and can be paid in the following ways:?1) bank transfer in Euro, plus bank charges for transfer; a copy of the bank transaction should be sent to us, by fax or e-mail  
Cancellation and penalty clause?- In case of successive cancellation of booking confirmed by yourselves by payment of 30% booking deposit; the following penalties are applied:
- If cancellation is notified from the  120° to the 90° day prior to arrival date, the 25% booking fee will be withheld.
- If cancellation is notified from the 89° to the 30° day prior to arrival date, penalty will be the 75% of the total amount quoted for the stay.
- If cancellation is notified from the 29°day up to arrival day, penalty fee will be 100% of the total amount quoted for the stay.
Cancellations should be notified by e-mail or fax and will be countersigned by us and sent back to you to confirm that we are aware of the cancellation.

Campania is one of the most beautiful regions of Italy in particular in the area where the house is located a few miles from the ruins of Pompeii (20 mins by train), a 15-minute boat ride from the island of Capri and close to the Amalfi Coast : Just naming these places do understand how beautiful and important in our region.

The Sorrento, Campania / Sorrentine Peninsula area

Massa lubrense is an historical touristic destination and is situated in the best location of the Sorrentine peninsula t is an ideal position to visit the region both towards Sorrento, Pompei Capri and Naples, and towards the Amalfi Coast. The villa is just on the small hill on the "Sea Club" a resort that offers courses of diving and many other marine activities, also to no more than 2 km is the bay of Puolo another popular place for bathing.

From naples train station there are trains every 40 min.
The villa is 1 Km from the main square of Massa Lubrense and 4 km from Sorrento center ; you can use 2 different company of public bus . The bus stop is next to the home.

“Amazing location, superior accommodation, incredible stay.” We couldn't have been happier with the beautiful view of Capri and the Amalfi coast. The rooms were big and modern, the bathrooms clean and roomy, the kitchen well appointed and the lounge dining blessed with great windows and views. The deck provided a wonderful spot to enjoy our 'sundowners' even though it was winter, and the weather was sunny and just marginally chilly. Thanks to Guido the owner for his generosity and warm welcome.

“Simply beautiful” I stayed at Casa Mariavittoria last August and I found it very comfortable, clean and very well furnished. It has a breathtaking view overlooking the bay of Naples and the beautiful Capri island. Even though it is in a residential area it's very easy to reach Massa Lubrense and Sorrento. The house is 800 meters from a private beach. Guido, the house owner is very accommodating and anything you might need he's ready to help. I hope to come back again.
