Villa Fillide B is a cozy apartment surrounded by the vegetation. It sleeps five people. From Villa Fillide B you will enjoy an enchanting view of the surrounding countryside. Villa Fillide B is 50 square meters (540 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a private terrace, a shared garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 1 km (0.6 miles) from the center of Sant'Agnello di Sorrento, where you will find restaurants, the shops and public transportation. You will find the stop for the EAV bus Sorrento Marina Piccola (porto) - Sorrento stazione - Sant'Agnello line a few meters (feet) away.

Villa Fillide B is located on the first floor. You will reach it from the main entrance of the building along a stairway which consists of approximately 20 steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Villa Fillide B. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a reserved covered parking space, in a fenced yard.

At Villa Fillide you'll fully enjoy the pleasure of a stay into a charming two-floors country house surrounded by a lovely large orange and lemon garden. At a distance of 2 Km from Sorrento, the tranquillity and relax of this fabulous country area is just priceless!

The Villa is composed by two apartments: Villa Fillide A and B. Two further apartments, Villa Fillide and D, are located into a dependence not far from the garden.

The landlords live there and will be available for you whenever you need, with discreetness.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is 4 meters (13 feet) large by 8 meters (26 feet) long, from 1.30 meter (4.3 feet) to 1.7 meters (5.6 feet) deep. The swimming pool area is equipped with a table, chairs, sun umbrellas, deck chairs, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of the garden. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. It is open from the beginning of April until the end of October.

Garden

The garden is 2000 square meters (21500 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by perfumed citrus trees. It is equipped with tables and chairs. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. The garden is shared with the other guests staying at the complex.

 Terrace

The terrace is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a porch. It is equipped with a table, chairs and deck chairs. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of the surrounding countryside.

Living Room

The furnishings of the living room are warm and welcoming. The furnishings include a sofa and a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a television. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the garden and of the hills through a double-glazed French door. The room has a double-glazed large panoramic window with a view of the countryside.

Bedroom

You will be able to enter the bedroom from the corridor. The furnishings are simple and comfortable. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a divan bed for one guest. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the garden through a double-glazed French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bathroom

The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower, a bathtub with shower wand and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.

The Campania region

Campania region is the beginning of the 'mezzogiorno'. Translating as the 'midday' the phrase evokes the sun-baked south. And Campania - with its ancient Greek and Roman towns, rumbling volcanoes and glittering blue coastline, at times evokes Classical Greece as much as modern Italy. You could be a million miles from bureaucratic and businesslike Milan.

Throughout much of its history Campania has been at the centre of Western Civilisation's most significant entities. The area was colonised by Ancient Greeks and was within Magna Græcia, until the Roman Republic began to dominate. During the Roman era the area was highly respected as a place of culture by the emperors, where it balanced Greco-Roman culture. The area had many duchies and principalities during the Middle Ages, in the hands of the Byzantine Empire and some Lombards.

It was under the Normans that the smaller independent states were brought together as part of a sizeable European kingdom, known as the Kingdom of Sicily, before the mainland broke away to form the Kingdom of Naples. It was during this period that especially elements of Spanish, French and Aragonese culture touched Campania. Later the area became the central part of the Two Sicilies under the Bourbons, until the Italian unification of 1860 when it became part of the new state Italy.

The capital city of Campania is Naples. Campania is rich in culture, especially in regards to gastronomy, music, architecture, archaeological and ancient sites such as Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum. The name of Campania itself is derived from Latin, as the Romans knew the region as Campania felix, which translates into English as "fortunate countryside". The rich natural sights of Campania make it highly important in the tourism industry, especially along the Amalfi Coast, Cilento Coast, Mount Vesuvius and the island of Capri.

Sorrento, Campania

The worldwide renowned Sorrento Coast offers another unique beauty: the village of Sant'Agnello.

Sant'Agnello di Sorrento is located between Piano di Sorrento and Sorrento itself, overlooking the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno, shaped as a squat rectangle. This splendid town is geographically really old, it dates back indeed to the Quaternary Age. You will see the numerous tuffaceous deposits, due to the ancient eruptions of the Mount Vesuvio, giving the characteristic "burnt yellow" colour to the coast, which is sheer drop from the cliffs to the sea.

Sant'Agnello has many monuments to exhibit, the first one is located in Piazza Matteotti, the town-hall or Palazzo del Municipio. In the middle of the piazza, surrounded by lovely public gardens, among palms decorating the splendid background, there is the notable War Memorial, made by Giovanni Nicolini and representing an infantryman lying, sword and shield in hand.

Piazza Matteotti did not exist until the beginning of the XX century, and it has been made by filling up an old deep valley that, from Gulf of Pecoriello, stretched out until the current urban centre.

During the 50's, new buildings have been added to the original nucleus rising around the ancient Vallone Croce, giving birth to the current village of Sant'Agnello.

The Church of the Most Holy Prisco and Agnello is a beautiful place of cult, consecrated in 1827 and dedicated to the Virgin Mary's Pure Heart. Inside you will be able to admire a great painting made by Gustavo Mancinelli in 1873 and representing a Madonna holding the Infant Jesus, with the St Prisco and Agnello in a worship attitude. The Church's been built thanks to the contribution of the local believers that, for this reason, still have the privilege to directly nominate their parish priests.

Piazza Sant'Agnello is the very centre of Sant'Agnello, with the homonym church in front of it and Corso Italia on the right. Corso Italia, is actually the national road SS 145 (called "Sorrentina") that crosses, apart from Sant'Agnello, even the charming villages of Meta di Sorrento and Piano di Sorrento.
