About the home

This little villa sleeps 6 but we have cots and z-beds available if you need to make sleeping arrangements for another child. Poppy 4 is a3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa on the left as you look at the pool. There is a double bedroom with a fitted wardrobe, ceiling fan and a window overlooking the back garden area. The second bedroom has twin beds, a fitted wardrobe and a window that also looks over the back garden area and the third bedroom has bunk beds, a fitted wardrobe and a window overlooking the side garden. The bathroom in Poppy 4 has a full length bath with a shower fitting, a WC, bidet and basin with mirror above; there is a separate shower room with another WC and another shower outside by the pool

This is a small semi-detached villa with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms , an open plan kitchen with gas oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, sitting room with comfortable sofa, CD player and satellite TV (free view channels only), leading through French windows to a covered terrace with outside dining table and chairs.

There is a clothes drying area with a washing machine and a portable BBQ.

The large communal rectangular swimming pool has a minimum depth of 0.6m and maximum of 1.80m. The complex is set in colourful, well kept gardens with grassed areas ideal for children and ample room for sunbathing around the pool.

There are 4 Poppy Apartments that can be rented separately or together, ideal for large groups who want to holiday together but maintain a bit of independence.

A deposit of 25% will be required to confirm your booking. This can be paid by UK cheque and posted to us. The balance must be paid a month before your arrival date, please.

The rental rate includes a mid-stay clean with a change of linen and towels, on stays over 10 days.

We supply bath and hand towels, a kitchen cloth, towel and tea-towel but not swimming towels.

The Son Bou / Torre area

When you are trying to find the perfect place to get away from it all, to leave all your worries and stress behind, you will first remember all the things you have been dreaming about doing on your “ideal holiday”. Some people just want to be able to relax by a pool knowing that the fully stocked bar fridge is only a couple of paces away, followed by warm evenings having supper on the harbour and dancing until the early hours.
Others would prefer to be near a beach with activities for the children, do a bit of snorkelling, have a light lunch at a decent restaurant and go back to a nice villa and swimming pool.

You might find taking long walks along the coast or doing a sailing course, helps you to unwind. Or maybe horse riding in the Mediterranean countryside or renting a couple of bicycles for cross country exploring.

Torre Soli Nou is an Urbanisation above the wonderful beach at Son Bou. The golden sands, about 3km long, reach to the neighbouring resort of Santo Tomás. The further along the beach you walk, the less clothing you will see! There is a bus stop almost in front of the complex that will take you to the nearest village Alayor and a resort train, therefore a car is not essential to get around the resort but recommended for exploring the Island. There is a supermarket, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. You can hire loungers, brollies, pedaloes and book a go on the 'sausage' on the beach. There is a water park and a maze along with other activities for all age groups. Nearby architectural remains make an interesting outing.

There is a chemist in the resort. Shops includes everything from supermarkets for groceries and essentials to shops with English newspapers, books, postcards, gifts, perfumes and local produce.
