The tram from the Port up to the fascinating town of Soller runs through orange and lemon groves. There are wonderful walks, many signposted, both in the valley and the mountains, as well as numerous places of interest, from local markets and art galleries to botanical gardens and boat trips from the Port along the coast. There are an excellent variety of local bars, cafes and restaurants, both in the Port and the town of Soller. The Port is a great transport hub with road, rail and boat connections. All in all a superb location for a varied and many-sided holiday experience.
