Located off a seculded Cul--de-sac this delightful new stone house is hidden in a tranquil corner overlooking a private orchard at the end of the garden of the main house. Glass doors from both bedroom and living room open onto a private pattio with chairs, table,loungers and barbaque for alfresco living. The wooden beamed cieling spirals up to the center as in a small chapel. Two ceiling lights flood light onto the warm clay tiled floor. The fully equiped open plan fitted kitchen has all new appliances. You can view sky satellite TV on a big flat screen TV from a comfortable double sofa bed. CD and DCD players and internet WiFi connection.Halogen ceiling lights between the wooden beams that support the roof are equipt with dimmers.The splendid design has been lovingly planned and executed. The 9 Meter salt pool is generiously decked around in Egyptian stone with additional loungers The pool is shared with the owners at a discreet distance. We recommend a smart car, or fiat Panda or Fiat 500 as the entrance street and gateway is narrow.The car can be parked close to the cottage. One step down but house and orchard all on the one level. Both main residence and guest cottage are quiet private from each other. There is under floor heating for winter and airconditioners for summer. Perhaps the highlight is to to be in such a tranquil location yet within an easy five minute walk from the buzz of the central store. As corner shop and supermarket are a few minutes away, you can manage without a car. Guests can use the washing machine and laundry facilities of the main house.

Mallorca is an island with a good tourist infa structure. It has a sunny mild climate and sufficient culture museums and places of interest, including winter music festivals to make it a treat to visit all year round. The national parks and mountains provide a wonderful back drop for all grades of hiking. The walking will be rewarded by the discovery of magnificent vistas of mountains and sea.

Soller

The fertile valley of soller is famous for lemon and orange trees. The town traded oranges and lemons with France and became wealthy at the turn of the last century. The prosperity is evidenced in the grand houses along the Grand Via,many now have been turned into small hotels. Can Prunera at the end of the walking street called the Calle de La Luna has been recently renovated and is open to the public as an example of the Art Deco architecture from the golden era. You will also find interesting shops along the Luna selling local handicrafts and produce.

The beaches at the Port of soller are a fifteen minute drive from the cottage by car. You can also travel to the Port in the festive holiday tram that leaves from the Train station every hour. The mountains surrounding the valley of soller offer spectacular walking trails The sea front at the Port of Soller is pedestrianized , so you can stroll leisurely ,stop and watch the sunset over a beer or exotic cocktail at one of the many bars at the water's edge or dine in one of the local restaurants watching boats bob around in the harbour.There is an underwater diving school at the Port and you can hire paddle boats and sailing boats. I can organize a private boat with captain to take any seafarers for a days outing on the water along the coastline. Deia is a twenty minute car trip along a magnificent coastline, where you can access the sea in deep water from the cove beach at the rocky cove called Cala Deia or spend time visiting the house now a museum where the War poet and writer of I Claudios once lived. There is also an old donkey path over the mountain for those wishing to walk to Deia. From the cottage you can walk to the Hamlet of Bineratx or in an hour be in Fornalutx for a coffee or drink in the square after following the old path from Soller on foot.
