Home description

This is one of the oldest and most beautiful houses in Port Soller. It is located right in the heart of Santa Catalina, the old fisherman's quarter of Port Soller. Ca'n Barbara is a luxurious apartment with stunning views of the bay and the Tramuntana mountains and valleys. It features a large SUPER-KING SIZE bedroom with separate dressing room and en-suite shower and WC. There is an open plan lounge/dining room and kitchen, there are french doors to a balcony.

There is an additional double futon bed and separate WC/wash room. It sleeps up to 4 adults and a child. The property is just minutes from the beach, restaurants and bars. It is located right in the heart of the old fishermen's quarter of the port known as Santa Catalina.

Air conditioning is provided to both floors of the apartment.

The Mallorca/Majorca region

Soller / Port of Soller area

The property is just 2 minutes walk to the seafront where the following amenities are available: beaches, restaurants, supermarkets, boat trips/hire, cash point, chemist, tram stop to Sóller (and onward train to Palma), taxi rank, bus stop for Palma, Sóller, Deia, Fornalutx, Valldamossa, etc.

There are a number of golf courses within 30 minutes drive. We can assist with arranging Tee times if required.
A great location for swimming, walking, painting, eating out, bird watching or just relaxing.

Palma airport is 35 minutes away. Car hire is not required. Transfers can be arranged. Please note that you can park right by the house for loading and unloading but longer term parking is restricted, within the older part of the village, to residents only. However, there are a number of free car parks within a couple of minutes walk as well as pay and display.

How to get there

First get a Plane or Ferry to Palma de Mallorca.
If required we can arrange transfers from/to the airport to our properties.
If you are hiring a car then it is very easy to get to Port Soller. It's about 35 minutes drive from the airport.
There are also various possibilities using public transport - Bus, train/tram or taxi.

We are please to recommend car hire from www.carjet.com . Their cars are on-Airport for pick-up and drop-off and they are one of the cheapest.

Ca'n Barbara occupies the top 2 floors of this old fishermen's cottage. It has a balcony with stunning 180 degree panoramic view of harbour, the Tramuntana mountains and valleys.
Access is provided from the old village street of Carrer Mallorca.
The top floor consists of an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. There are French doors to balcony.
The lounge has 2 double sofas (one converts to a double bed), Satelite TV, DVD player with selection of DVDs, Hi-Fi/CD player, radio, selection of CDs, and PlayStation with games.
The Dining area has a table and chairs for 5 people. A highchair can also be provided on request.
The Kitchen has electric oven, hob, extractor fan, microwave and large fridge/freezer. There is also a cloakroom with WC, wash basin and a washing machine.
The lower floor consists of a large King size bedroom with separate dressing room and en-suite shower room with WC.
A Cot is available on request.
