About the home

Villa Eva, with its stunning seaviews and tastefully furnished rooms is provided with a grated entrance, swimming pool, and sunny terrace.All rooms facing the sea and backed by the local "macchi" the villa is equipped with all modern amenities and comforts. It is also only a short walking distance from the sandy beach of Canella. Restaurants, souvenir shops, clothes shops, local bars, supermarkets, doctors and chemists can be found in the nearby village of Solenzara. Close to tourist attractions such as the Bavella mountain range, Porto Vecchio, Bonifacio and numerous white sandy beaches including the famous Palombaggia Beach.

Two storey villa with large en suite master bedroom, with walking robe. Two bedrooms on lower floor ( one double and one twin) with shared facilities (shower, bath, separate wc). Very large living space with open kitchen, dining area, lounge and outdoor seating (via french windows). All rooms have a seaview, air-conditioning and access to a balcony. Private pool with counter current machine. The pool is equipped with a child safety alarm system. Large sunbathing terrace with loungers, tables and chairs, sun canopy, barbeque and outdoor shower. Large selection of holiday guides, books, CDs and DVDs for use. The house is equipped with wi-fi for easy surfing. Baby-sitting arranged upon request.

The swimming pool is protected from neighbouring views and has an outdoor shower. Comfortable sun lounges are provided on the terrace as well as a barbeque. The outdoor dining table is protected by a sun canopy. The pool is directly accessible from the living space. The villa is surrounded by local dense "macchi". Ideal for mountain walk enthusiasts. The villa enjoys complete privacy and a breath taking seaview.

No pets.
Smoking is only allowed outdors or on the balcony and terrace.
A 30% deposit is requested upon reservation. Refundable 2 months before arrival in case of cancellation.
Holiday insurance is therefore advisable.
Refundable breakage deposit requested upon arrival. Repaid shortly after departure after thorough verification of the villa and its contents.

The Corsica region

Corsica is almost the perfect holiday destination, basking in the mediterranean sunshine off the south of France. Perfect Corsica beaches, magnificent mountain scenery, fine towns and villages that simply belong in the surrounding landscape, and of course the climate. The hundreds of beaches and 1,000 kilometre of coastline form the basis of many holidays on the island, with swimming, snorkelling, wind-surfing, scuba diving and sunbathing being the most popular activities.

The Corsican towns are very attractive (and very popular with visitors), as are walks in the mountains, and other outdoor activities based around both the mountains and the coast. Walks are available for all levels of ability, from a pleasant stroll to some of the most difficult mountain walks in Europe.

Corsica enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate, with summers being hot and dry, and remaining mild even in winter, at least at coastal level. The mountains are of course a little cooler all year round.

The Solenzara area

Solenzara, famous sea-side resort, offers the warm atmosphere of a small summer paradise. Its marina, endowed with the blue flag, is built right in the middle of the town. It gives to the village an imitable ambiance.... between great festivities of summer and a peaceful coastal village.
Solenzara is endowed with a remarkable hinterland, in which architectural and natural jewels distinguish themselves into series of magnificent backdrops.

“A slice of peaceful paradise” My wife and I were looking for a villa in a secluded part of the world which was not too far from home in London. We also had 2 children and a grandmother in tow, so we needed accommodation that could keep everyone happy. Villa Eva looked the perfect choice, and we were not disappointed! Christian and Anette were very welcoming hosts and made sure we had all the information we needed in advance, and were there on hand in case we needed anything during our stay. The villa itself is only 5 minutes drive from the nearest town, Solenzara, and is at the top of a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean sea with undisturbed views. And what views they are! Every morning I would have a coffee on the decked veranda by the pool, and would watch the yachts sail by. The kids were very happy as they practically lived in the pool, and in the evenings we would have a barbecue and eat outside. The villa itself is very spacious and decked out in a Mediterranean style, although there are touches from other parts of the world. The living area is open and set for relaxing, but also has all the necessary mod cons - flatscreen TV, wifi internet etc. My wife and I took up the double bedroom at the top of the villa, which had its own ensuite bathroom, walk through wardrobe and balcony. The kids shared a double bedroom, and grandma had her own too, and they shared a bathroom and separate toilet. Their bathroom had a jacuzzi bath, which the kids loved! This was our first time in Corsica, and this part of the island was fantastic. The town of Solenzara has all the amenities you require, and Porto Vecchio (25 minutes) and Bonifacio (1 hour) are close by. It's also a great launchpad for the mountains behind, including the Bavella Needles, and the beaches of the east coast. Overall we had a wonderful stay in Villa Eva: I really couldn't fault it! “Sublime” Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cette villa. Elle est idéalement située et offre une vue sublime. Les propriétaires sont accueillants.
