The Canillo region
Andora is a beautiful country set high in the pyrennées, and is well know for its excellent ski resort. Andorra is divided in seven "parròquias", Canillo is one of it.
In Canillo-Soldeu there is now a superb natural health spa, "Sport Wellness", (www.sportwellness.ad), which can be booked independently.
Summer in Canillo-Soldeu is fantastic, the flat is well situated at the foot of the Incles valley with an extensive range of routes available directly from the flat. Outdoor pursuits are available up on the mountainside at "Campbase GRANDVALIRA", including organised trekking and mountain biking.
Soldeu / Soldeu Village area
In Andorra La Vella, another "parròquia", there is one of the biggest and best Spa in Europe called Caldea.
The après-ski on offer in Andorra has several thermal Spa, tax-free shopping, excellents restaurants, pubs and clubs.
For those looking for a quieter and more cultured time you can visit the Romanesque style churches. All available in a few kilometres.
How to get there
To get a low-fares airline flight to Barcelona, Girona (Ryanair), Toulouse, Perpinyà or Carcassonne.
From Barcelona Airport (El Prat) you can get a Bus to Andorra-Soldeu also from Girona or Toulouse or you can hire a car and drive three hours.
