Lovely 3 bedroomed apartment located in the main village of Soldeu Andorra. Sleeps 6-8 people. Ski locker at Gondola station is included free of charge, and also a secure parking space. Full self-catering facilities. Only 600 meters (an easy walk) from the Gondola station and chair lifts. Large patio area and BBQ etc. Very tastefully furnished and comfortable accommodation. Lovely views across moutnains and valleys of Andorra. The apartment block is tastefully designed and built in traditional catalan style and looks very nice. The accommodation itself is contemporary in design with comprehensive facilities. Excellent Shops and restaurants within minutes walk. It is difficult to find good quality self-catering accommodation within Soldeu village, so we suggest you book early to avoid dissapointment. In Soldeu there is now a superb natural health spa ("Sport Wellness"), which can be booked independently. In Andorra La Vella, there is one of the biggest and best spas in Europe called Caldea, which can also be booked locally. We can provide advice on the best deals for ski and boot hire as well as lift passes.
SUMMER holidays in Andorra are fantastic. The walking is outstanding with a range of short or day walks available. The flat is well situated near the foot of the Incles valley with an extensive range of routes available directly from the flat. Outdoor pursuits are available up on the mountainside at Campbase Grandvalira , including organised trekking and mountain biking. The Canillo region
Andorra is a beautiful country set high in the pyrennées, and is well known for its excellent ski resorts , thermal spas and the amazing tax-free shopping opportunities. Andorra La Vella, the capital, is a shopping haven and is home to the wonderful thermal spa centre of Caldea. The region of Canillo is a traditional rural area with small towns and villages with a mixture of old catalan homes and buidings and modern catalan architecture. All towns ands villages have excellent restaurants and bars and well as winter and summer sports shops. Easy access is afforded to either France or Spain.
Soldeu / Soldeu Village area
The après-ski on offer in the Soldeu sector has two main attractions: the “Sport Wellness Mountain Spa” and the afternoon and nightlife in Soldeu’s pubs and clubs.
For those who prefer shopping, Soldeu also has various sports shops such as Pic Negre and Esports Calbó, where you can find all sorts of ski and snowboard equipment for all budgets.
As we mentioned, thermal water therapy has reached Soldeu with the “Sport Wellness Mountain Spa”.
Built recently, it has a capacity of 4500 m2 of water, making it the second largest of its kind in Andorra and one of the most distinguished mountain, thermal leisure and health centres in Europe.
The reception area alone, with its open structure looking down on the four lower levels, gives you an idea of the magnitude of the building. This spectacular centre has various aquatic areas with indoor Jacuzzis, Turkish baths, hammam, fitness room, UVA, a large pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and a hairdresser, among other facilities. Here, you can also receive health and beauty treatment in individual units. All of this with views over the pistes of the Soldeu sector of Grandvalira. Soldeu is also famous for its nightlife, during the winter season becoming a playground for Grandvalira’s party animals! Here you can join in the fun, cosmopolitan atmosphere, where skiing and snowboarding are a way of life. Although known for its mainly British and Irish clientele, you’ll also find resort workers and other holidaymakers who don’t want to miss out on one of the best nights out in Andorra. Well known pubs and clubs are The Villager, The Aspen, Fat Albert’s, The Pussycat, Avalanche, Iceberg, Slalom…
For those looking for a quieter and more cultured time then Soldeu and surrounding areas have some fine restaurants, and lovely hotels offering excellent cuisine and entertainment.
During summer, as well as The Mountain Spa, there are also the beautiful mountains of the Vall d’Incles, with its natural surroundings, which is highly recommended for hiking enthusiasts. Mountain bikers, riders will also find plenty to do at Basecamp Grandvalira; the summer outdoor centre up on the mountain at mid-station.
How to get there
The best and cheapest way to travel is to get a low-fares airline flight to either of the following airports.... Barcelona; Girona; Toulouse; Perpignan; Carcassonne;
If you book early enough you can get very silly return fare prices !!
From Barcelona Airport there are at 4-5 coaches a day that go direct to Andorra (right up to Soldeu). From Toulouse and Gerona there are 1-2 coach connections per day to Andorra.
Otherwise you can hire a car from any of the airports.

You can also (of course) drive down to Andorra. Andorra is about 10-11 hours drive from the channel ports. If you want to do this we can provide directions if required.
On Arrival in Soldeu:
Please ring either 0044 7718 634586 or 0044 7718 634587 when you arrive in Soldeu to tell us of your arrival.
If you come by bus/coach then the main bus stop is about 300 meters from the apartment. If possible we will pick you up from the bus stop to save you the short walk back down the hill.
If you are in a vehicle, you can park temporarily directly outside La Pleta del Soldeu on the main road.

Bus Stop outside the apartment block with regular buses via Soldeu village to Pas de la casa (and onto France), and down the mountain to Canillo, Encamp and Andorra La Vella (and onto Spain). Excellent shops and bars and restaurants all within a few minutes easy walk in Soldeu Village. Easy local access to the Andorra walking/hiking network. Fantastic SPA and health resort facilities at the Wellness Centre in Soldeu - Also at Caldea in Andorra La Vella. Fantastic Tax free shopping at Andorra La Vella.
Notes: Strictly no smoking in the Apartment - Ash trays are provided on the external patio area. Strictly no Boots and Skis in the apartment.
Further details outdoors: A stones throw away is the Piolets Park Hotel offering 4-star facilities. The Hotel has an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzis, sauna, steam room, fitness room, massage and beauty treatments. The facilities are open to non residents for a daily fee of 9 euros in or 25 euros for a whole week (Prices subject to change).
