This stylish and unique traditional corner Maltese Townhouse sleeping 4/6 persons in the heart of the lively city of Sliema is intimate and comfortable, yet luxurious and cosmopolitan.
Location: The house is conveniently situated in a quiet road within the town centre, just seconds away from the sea, the Strand promenade, the Sliema seafront, the restaurants, the cafes and all the shops. Swimming zones are also within walking distance.
Transport: All major cultural, leisure, entertainment, commercial and corporate sites are within easy reach. The bus stop is just 100m down the road allowing access to all areas of the island easily. In the very same location is the quick ferry boat into the historical capital city of Valletta [10 minutes boat trip] offering an array of museums and cultural sites. Here, you will also find various shops, cafes and restaurants. Bus ride to St.Julian's takes only 7 minutes.
Accomodation: Layout consists of an open plan kitchen/dining room and living/TV room [2 extra sofa beds] with a bathroom at ground level leading to a very spacious double bedroom suite with its very own separate changing room and bathroom beneath. On the first floor one is to find another bedroom [double/two single] with a balcony and a private shower room. A beautiful, traditional spiral stone staircase leads onto the roof-top terrace which is ideal for relaxing and entertaining. This is also the only area in the house allocated to smoking.
Once in Malta you could purchase a return day trip to Sicily from offices nearby or better still, charter my very own classic sailing yacht (skipper included) for trips round Malta, Gozo and possibly Sicily at a discounted price. If you have any further queries do not hesitate to contact me.

The Island of Malta region
Megaliths, medieval dungeons and Calypso's Cave – The Maltese Islands are positively mythic. The narrow meandering streets of their towns and villages lead to the main square, which is invariably dominated by the huge baroque church. As the countryside is dotted with medieval towers, wayside chapels and the oldest known human structures in the world, the Islands have rightly been described as an open-air museum.
The Maltese archipelago lies virtually at the centre of the Mediterranean, 93 km south of Sicily and 288 km north of Africa. The archipelago consists of three islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino with a total population of over 400,000 inhabitants occupying an area of 316 square kilometers.
Malta is the largest island and the cultural, commercial and administrative centre. Gozo is the second largest island and is more rural, characterised by fishing, tourism, crafts and agriculture. Comino, the smallest of the trio, has one hotel and is largely uninhabited.
With superbly sunny weather, attractive beaches, a thriving nightlife and 7,000 years of intriguing history, there is a great deal to see and do.
Sliema is the island's most fashionable residential area. Here also is the finest shopping in Malta, loads of restaurants and coffee shops, miles of rocky beaches and a beautiful promenade stretching from just outside the house all the way to the picturesque fishing village of Spinola Bay in St. Julian's.

"Quirky and central"
Enjoyed the quirkiness and style of this place and very handy to everything. Our host couldn't have been more helpful. Stairs to second bedroom may not suit all ages. Lack of internet in our case… More

Just a short note to all my guests....I choose not to have wifi in the house specifically to encourage my guests to relax, enjoy and forget their daily routine back home. Free wifi is available nearly everywhere just outside the house and throughout the island and if one chooses/needs to have wifi on the go then a €10 local sim card easily bought from the shop just 100m down the road is enough to give you this service for the duration of your stay. Whenever I go abroad myself [and I do so very often] I find that wifi inside my hotel room actually distracts me from enjoying the company of the people I am with....a bit old fashioned in my thinking perhaps....but hey...that's island people to you! x x x

"Not what it seems"
My husband, daughter and I stayed in this apartment for two weeks at the end of July. It was extremely warm which we enjoy but the air conditioning was inadequate especially in the second bedroom. My … More
This Townhouse has thick traditional walls which normally keep it cool throughout summer, so with the added air con and fans it should have been just right. Guests did come at a time when there was a bit of a heat wave perhaps and had they let me know I would have seen to their issue and resolved it. Still, I apologize for any discomfort and kindly remind all guests to let me know of any issues as I am always willing to fix them immediately. Thanks again and best regards. Noel

"Lots of Pluses Here!"
We (two couples) spent a week at this property. The location was great! You are in the middle of everything but tucked away from the hubbub. The actual space is a little quirky(in a good way!) but that was what we wanted. The stairs show the passage of time and you have to be careful on them. If you want the cookie-cutter type of accomodations then a hotel might be better for you. The owner has been excellent to deal with from the beginning of the rental process to the end. He addressed any concerns and questions promptly. He is very knowledgeable about his country and gave us many 'tips' and suggestions. He arranged for our transportation when we left the house for the airport. If we were to return to Sliema we would certainly stay at this property again. This was a pleasant experience from beginning to end!
