The Sliema area

The sea front promenade from Sliema to St Julian'soffers stunning views of the bays and is ideal for a stroll or a jog. Paceville for the young and very young at heart ( which is 15 minutes away from the apartment ) offers a vibrant nightlife to suit all tastes such as discotheques, piano bars and even a casino. Spinola Bay in St. Julian's, however, is still used by fishermen and you can savour the fresh catch of the day from the many restaurants in this area.
St Julians Initially a fishing village and Sliema a summer residence resort for wealthy locals and now developed into one of the Island's mostly fetched resorts and up market areas. St. Julian's still retains some of it's old dwellings and boat houses. The small bay still shelters numerous coloured Maltese boats that are berthed here all year long.

The apartment is excellently located in a prime area and is literally a few paces off Tower Road. Tower Road is locally known as the 'golden mile' owing to the beauty of the seafront promenade which overlooks Independence Gardens ( with swings and facilities for children ) , Balluta and Spinola Bay and is renowned for its up market properties. The seafront promenade links the towns of St. Julian's and Sliema and walking by the seafront promenade you would not even realise that you have crossed from one town to the other. In one direction there is Balluta Bay in St. Julian's which is 2 minutes away and further on Spinola Bay in St. Julian's and walking in the other direction of the Sliema seafront promenade leads to the main shopping centre and further on to Tigne' Point. The beach is less than 1 minute away.

The apartment was just off the waterfront in Sliema and very handy to all bus routes - all day ticket 2.60 euro. Lots of resturants... more

Really enjoyed our stay here. Graham, the owner arranged our pick up and drop off at the airport and it went like clockwork. Apartment is clean and spacious and has all modern appliances. Just walk round the corner and you're yards from the promenade and bus stops. Lots of shops nearby - the location is excellent.

We stayed at this apartment for 6 days during our 1st visit to Malta. From our initial inquiry right through until our arrival, the owner Graham was fantastic. Our many questions were answered promptly, and the service was excellent. He arranged our transfer from the airport to the apartment and met us on our arrival. The apartment was new, and well appointed with everything you could need, including airconditioning, washing machine, wifi, modern furnishings, a comfortable bed and a great kitchen. The location was fabulous, a 2 minute walk from the boardwalk that runs along the foreshore. Transport around the island was easy and efficient, the bus stop was also just around the corner. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks so much for everything Graham.
