Ta' Rena Apartment living space is approximately 100m squared, Air-Conditioning is available in the living area (metered), it is also equipped with Cable TV, DVD & library, internet connection and direct telephone line. It has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric hob/oven, microwave, electric toaster/kettle & all kitchen utensils. The laundry room is equipped with automatic washing machine, tumble dryer,Iron Board and hair dryer. Linen, Towels and a generous food pack will be provided on arrival at no extra charge. Maid service is available on request for rental periods of more than 7 nights.

To ensure our guests safety this apartments are also equipped with the necessary safety features such as fire extinguisher, smoke detectors and first aid kit. It is of extreme importance for us to ensure the Safety of our Guests.

The Island of Malta region

Malta - officially the Republic of Malta (Maltese: Repubblika ta' Malta), is a small and densely populated European microstate, comprising an archipelago of seven islands, making it an island nation. Situated in Southern Europe, 93 km (58 mi) off the coast of Sicily (Italy), it is located in the Mediterranean Sea, giving the country a warm, Mediterranean climate, while a further 288 km (179 mi) to the island's west is Tunisia and about 300 km (186 mi) south is Libya. Valletta is in practice the nation's capital city.

Throughout much of its history, Malta has been considered a crucial strategic location due in large part its position in the Mediterranean Sea. It was held by several ancient cultures including Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans, Byzantines, Sicilians, and others. The island is commonly associated with the Knights Hospitaller who ruled it. This, along with the historic Biblical shipwreck of St. Paul on the island, ingrained the strong Roman Catholic legacy which is still the official and most practiced religion in Malta today.

The country's official languages are Maltese and English, although there are strong historical ties to the Italian language on the islands. Malta gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1964 and is currently a member of the European Union which it joined in 2004, in addition to being part of the Commonwealth of Nations and the United Nations.

The Sliema area

Sliema is the main coastal resort on Malta, it is also a very large residential area. If you like a little sightseeing in your holiday, combined with sports and good food, Sliema fits the bill. This busy – and still growing – town focuses on The Strand, a broad promenade with views of Valletta 0.5km to 1km away. Sliema’s shops are among the best on the island - look for Maltese lace, fine silverware, pottery, and woolens. When night falls Sliema’s bars and restaurants are relaxed and mellow in mood with a cosmopolitan feel.

Ensure you see the fabulous view of the magnificent fortifications and church domes of Valletta rising high above Marsamxett harbour, from The Strand in Sliema. This is one of the best views of Valletta available.

“great value,location and owner!” A spacious apartment, well appointed one street back from The Strand in a quiet part of Sliema.Kitchen had everything we needed including washing machine with enough powder, washing up liquid etc for our stay, a nice and convenient touch.From our first contact, the owner Norman could not do enough to help us. When the bank wanted to charge me £25 to send a 100Euro deposit, Norman was happy to wait until we arrived to collect the rental fee, trusting and generous.Everything happened exactly as we were told it would. Airport transfers were on time. Norman was there to greet us, to give advice and recommendations.Apartment great for shops, restaurants,transport etc.This was our first experience of Malta.
