Rokeby is a 17th century former Dales Farmhouse on the Dalesway. It is situated in the heart of Grassington and has recently been renovated to high standards. Breakfast is served in front of the inglenook fireplace where we serve traditional English breakfast or vegetarian option. We have parking for guests and free wifi.

Please note that we are Bed and Breakfast and not self catering. We can offer a room only rate if required.

Grassington is the largest village in Wharfedale and Rokeby is situated in the heart of this picturesque village with its historic streets and buildings. Nearby is the River Wharfe where you can walk through ancient woodlands past limestone crags to the high moorland fells and limestone pavements. Grassington has a Lead mining and farming history and nearby Kilnsey host a large agricultural show at the end of August. There is also plenty of other sporting attractions in the area such as Horse riding at nearby Kilnsey, Flyfishing at Kilnsey trout farm or day tickets available for the nearby River Wharfe, Sailing at Grimwith Reservoir, Golfing at Skipton Golf Club, Pot Holing nearby, Rock climbing at Kilnsey Cragg, Cycling ( Electric bike hire available in the village).

There is also plenty of tourist attractions nearby such as Skipton Castle, Stump Cross Caverns, Wensleydale cheese factory and much more. So you will never be bored during your stay.


Grassington also boasts a fine selection of country pubs, tearooms and restaurants as well as a variety of shops.

There is an annual music and arts festival at the end of June when many popular entertainers come to the town. Then is September Grassington hosts a 1940's weekend with vintage vehicles, military displays, war time entertainment, 1940's reen-actors camps, Lindy Hop jive and a Big Band Dance in The Town Hall.

At the end of the year in December Grassington goes Dickensian with musicians, costume and street entertainers.
