The County Cork region

From the bustling seaside town of Youghal in the east to the rugged peninsulas and harbour villages of the west, there is always plenty to see and do in County Cork.
Skibbereen area
Skibbereen is a thriving market town that prides itself on superb local produce including seafood, meat and bread from its own bakery, and weekly country and farmer markets. The intriguing West Cork Arts Centre and the enthralling Skibbereen Heritage Centre, along with interesting shops, great restaurants and lively pubs are all to be found here, suffused with the town’s famous warm welcome.
Situated in the midst of some of Ireland's most spectacular scenery, walkers, cyclists and drivers can all enjoy easy access to the sandy beaches, secluded coves, tranquil lakes, rivers, hills and forests in the area. An indoor sports centre with fully equipped gym and an excellent 18-hole golf course are available for the energetic holidaymaker.
There are many pretty towns and villages nearby to explore including Kinsale (aka the “Gourmet Capital of Ireland”); Leap; Rosscarberry; Ballydehob and Bantry. Dolphin and whale watching opportunities, relaxing beaches and rugged coastline can all be found in this beautiful part of West Cork.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
