Views from these large glass panels sweep spectacularly over the Atlantic Ocean, the expansive cliffs protecting the Irish coastline from its often wild and spectacular waters, ancient islands scattered along the coast, the secluded and tranquil harbour of Tragumna Bay with its Blue Flag Beach and then further inland to the rolling mountains and hills of Ireland's famous West Cork scenery. Indeed, taking this in with your first morning coffee will have you convinced there is no need to leave the home to see more of Ireland!
A large stone feature wall inside the living room, with an inlaid LCD Television CD/DVD player, sat TV, a large leather couch and a cosy multi fuel fireplace, all tastefully selected and set amongst other carefully selected pieces of imported furniture will leave you wanting nothing as you relax in your home. The kitchen was completely replaced in the modernization project, the end result is a fully equipped, state of the art cooking environment comprising of ivory coloured cabinetry, a hardwood teak worktop with integrated appliances, a large fridge/freezer with integrated ice dispenser and cold water tap, a 5 ring gas stove top and chrome appliances.

Tragumna itself is a tiny community balancing on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean with a local Pub named the 'Eagle' which is known across the country for its Irish Hospitality, its love of traditional music and its ability to transport all who step through its doors, back 100 years....an experienced not to be missed, an opportunity to mix with the local people and only a two minute drive from the Eagles Nest.

As the ‘hub’ of West Cork, With 18 pubs in the town and award winning restaurants scattered all around, there is also plenty to do in the evening.

"Beautiful home in a beautiful place .....I need say no more ......"
Everything as described and more. A relaxing break for us and my parents. Our little 2 year old loved the animals. From the calves in the nearby field to the dogs & cats from the nearby homes.
We will definately return.
A very safe home and place for children to be. Bonus of the holiday - owner collected our Chinese takeaway! You don't get better service then that!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house, very lucky with the weather. The house is very modern and the only thing I would recommend is a Hoover as it's easier than brushing. It must be fantastic in summer, the views are fab.

"AMAZING HOUSE AND LOCATION - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"
We stayed at the Eagles Nest for a week at the end of May. The house is beautiful with everything you could ever need. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and cosy. The
hot-tub and the wi-fi are an added bonus. The views from the decking are fantastic and it was relaxing just to sit back in the hot tub and admire the views. The surrounding towns were great with lots of lovely pubs and restaurants and beautiful beaches. We will definitely be returning to the area and will definitely be returning to the Eagles Nest. Thanks to the owner, Claire for all her help :)
