Completed in 2007 this home is a very popular home in West Cork for holiday makers. It is located 7 miles from Skibbereen, the hub of West Cork business, nightlife, dining and spectacular scenery.
This is a perfect house for large families as it sleeps 12 and it is also can accommodate 2 families should they wish to holiday together.
The house is located at the ferry point to Heir Island. The are is in a rural location but just 7 miles from the popular town of Skibbereen.
It is the perfect spot for cycling and walking. The local pub Minihanes bar is one mile away.
Island Views has been designed and completed with great care and taste. Fittings, furniture and accessories throughout the house would suggest this is far more than a holiday house.
It is your home from home, a haven from the outside world located amongst some of Irelands most fabulous scenery, a vista upon the surrounding nature you will feel fortunate to experience and will leave you with impressions and memories that you will never forget.

The County Cork region
West Cork is a popular tourist destination. Island Views is the perfect place to discover West Cork. It is also possible to tour around Co Kerry as within an hours drive one can be in Kenmare.
Within an hours drive from the house one can be at the Mizen head ( the most southerly point in Ireland) The town of Baltimore is within half an hours drive.
The gourmet town of Kinsale is 60 KM away
Skibbereen / Cunnamore area
As the house is located at the ferry point to Heir island, this is an attraction not to be missed.
The island is home to 30 residents. There is a stunning beach on the island and also Sailing courses run though the Summer.
The heritage centre in Skibbereen is another local attraction.Skibbereen is the capital of West Cork, 5 miles from Cunnamore. It is the centre for all the agricultural, industrial and tourist activities of a wide region. As the ‘hub’ of West Cork, With 18 pubs in the town and award winning restaurants scattered all around, there is also plenty to do in the evening. You can be guaranteed of a good night out here whether its a local traditional Irish Pub with some old Irish music or a night of dancing and bopping with the best of Skibbereens local party goers.
Trips to the islands of Cape Clear and Sherkin can also be arranged from the ferry point at Baltimore.

Fly with Ryan Air, Aerlingus and many more aerlines to Cork airport. Kerry Airport also is one and a half hours drive away.
Sail with Irish Ferries to Ringaskiddy in Cork.

The bedrooms are spacious and 54of the bedrooms have spectacular views of the ocean looking over to Baltimore and Heir Island. 5 of the bedrooms are en suite.
The house has Internet access and also has Sky TV installed.
