This is actually the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a review online, Primrose Cottage is most certainly the hidden gem of west Ireland! We arrived on Saturday afternoon where we were warmly greeted by Irene. She was the perfect hostess giving us great local insights of the best walks and places to eat. On entering the cottage we found the fire was already roaring with a kettle boiling on top and warm fresh scones just made by Irene... we instantly knew we had found the right place. The cottage itself is perfect for a relaxing, romantic break where you instantly feel at home. Couldn't recommend this place enough... And hope it isn't too long till we return. Primrose Cottage was the perfect small detatched cottahe I was looking for. Set on a hill with spectaccular views, this cottage is perfectly located for exploring the West Cork area. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, very well equiped with everything you could possibly wish for. Irene has dne a wonderful job and is the perfect host, being on hand should you need anything but allowing complete privacy too. It was a joy to come come across Primrose Cottage and so cosy and warm. We can't wait to return! |
