Home description
Irini's House is a fully renovated apartment, equipped with all items necessary for a pleasant and comfortable stay, serving either a family or a group of friends up to 4 people. It consists of 2 bedrooms, a dining room, a living room, fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a WC. The apartment has great views of the sea and probably its very best asset is that it is located right above the beach of Megali Ammos.

The Sporades/Evia region
Sporades is an archipelagos which is found eastern of Greece and close to Evia. It is a complex of four islands and Skiathos is the smallest.
Skiathos as almost all greek islands has a nice climate especially during summer (high temperatures especially in July and August). Blue seas, sundy beaches and stunning views are some of the characteristics that make the stay on the island memorable and rewarding.
The main road of Skiathos has elegand shops, bars and some restaurants which are very attractive to visitors.
Skiathos / Megali Ammos area
In the shadow of Agion Oros of the Atho Macedonian peninsula – this is where it gets its name – Skiathos, the island where the worldwide known writer Alexandros Papadiamantis was born .Nature has given Skiathos rich vegetation and 44 km with more than 60 endless or small or even isolated, romantic beaches with golden sand. The endangered Mediterranean seal Monachous-Monachous is reproduced in Skiathos’ sea caves. Panagia Ikonistria and Evangelistria, are the two Skiathos' monasteries that everybody can visit them.
Megali Ammos is an area just a few minutes walking distance from town. In the immediate vicinity of the outstanding apartment there are several supermarkets as well as car rentals and tourist shops. There is a bus stop nearby from where you can go to many other beaches, and the last stop is Koukounaries beach, Skiathos’ most famous beach. (12 km)
On the beach of Megali Ammos you will find a water sports school, several bars and restaurants and rental sun beds and umbrellas.
How to get there
Fly directly from Athens or by boat from the Port of Aghios Konstantinos (almost 3h from Athens). Also charter flights from England and other European countries.

I ve spent 2 weeks at Irini's House in July. Me and my husband I arrived to a very warm welcome from the owner Mrs Irini who made us feel like our own home. The apartment was fantastic with great views to the sea and the beach was just 20 steps from our door. I am really looking forward to go back again. Overall we had fab holidays and we definitely go back next summer!
