Villa Nikko is one of the most beautiful homes on the lovely island of Skiathos, situated on a hill with a pine forest behind and overlooking Sklithri bay, reached in less than 20 mins by taxi from the airport. The house has three floors comprising of three bedrooms, two with reverse air conditioning, three bathrooms (one en-suite to the master bedroom) well appointed kitchen with all the usual high grade appliances and kitchen equipment, large and well furnished lounge, dining room with a bar, and to be able to enjoy the spectacular views three separate terraces. The villa sleeps six very comfortably, and is within easy reach of nearby beaches,local shops,tavernas, and restaurants. The local bus runs on a regular timetable to Skiathos Town from the main road at the bottom of the hill.

The Sporades/Evia region
Skiathos is the smallest of the Sporades islands including Skopelos and Alonissos still maintaining its ancient name and covering an area of 61KM square, with a permanent population of just under 3,900 inhabitants. The island has a very healthy climate with a comfortable summer and mild winters, the land is cultivated with vineyards, fruit trees.pine and fig tree's. Its very easy to get around by bus or taxi, or you may wish to hire a scooter which is a very popular method of holiday transportation. The Airport is 3km outside the town centre, ferryboats and flying dolphin vessels all arrive at the new harbour next to the central taxi rank, you can also arrange for inter- island excursions from the shipping offices, excursion boats offering day trips around the island are an ideal way to access the more remote and less well visited beaches, there is also a naturist beach (Banana Beach) which is popular with visitors.
Skiathos / Troulos area
Skiathos Island is a small enchanting corner of the Sporades Islands, that has remained untouched by mass tourism, and so retains its very local charm and ambience,with small whitewashed houses, cobbled streets in the main town and more than sixty fabulous beaches to choose from woth a backdrop of pine tree forests this island is a jewel!! Skiathos Town is built with very traditional island architecture, and is quite delightful to explore, the town is the place of residence to most of the islands inhabitants, with many and varied shops for everyday needs and local crafts and gifts. The old and new harbours are awash with great restaurants, bars and nightclubs for dancing,but this is not a 'party' island and unreasonable behavior that may detract from other peoples enjoyment is dealt with very swiftly.

During the summer holiday season there are many charted flights from a large number of airports that fly direct to Skiathos, check the websites of cheapflights.com, expedia.com, and lastminute.com,also use googgle search engine.
You can also fly direct to Athens by scheduled flights from hub airports,and then forward by Olympic Airlines direct to Skiathos.

Further details indoors: The Villa Nikko is furnished to a very high standard, floors are beautiful marble and the general decoration is of a neutral colour throughout, all bedrooms have ample storage and hanging closets. Included in the rental price is the cost of electricity,water,bed linen, towels, and twice a week maid service. we would ask our guests to please supply their own beach towels.
Further details outdoors: The three separate terraces of the Villa Nikko are furnished with ample sun loungers and tables and chairs for al fresco dining or drinks, however it should be appreciated to take advantage of the stunning views, Villa Nikko, is near the top of a hill and the terraces have a drop beneath, so in view of this we cannot recommend that parents of children under the age of 10 would find Villa Nikko suitable for their vacation. Likewise as the Villa is split level wheelchair users will also find the Villa unsuitable.
