Beautiful recently refurbished apartment, well-situated for golf and tennis (clubs for both 2 minutes walk away) Popular restaurant within the well-kept community gardens serving good food. Large pool with lifeguard during the season. Views of the sea and Gibraltar from the balcony on a clear day the coast of Africa.
You can have a quiet glass of wine on the balcony, or if you are looking for a more lively holiday there is the Strip of bars down nearer to the coast that you can walk to (uphill on the way back though!) The apartment is situated mid distance between Fuengirola and Marbella, nearby to the beautiful port of Cabopino, where you can find wonderful seafood restaurants, Italian and Indian cuisine. There is something to suit all tastes..Andy's beach at Cabopino has a great beach bar with good reasonably priced food.
Airport pick-ups can be arranged if necessary - please ask when booking
Flexible arrival and departure times provided details are agreed at the time of booking. Without prior agreement during peak periods access is after 16:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, departure by 10:00 a.m.
Maximum of 4 persons in the apartment (we can accommodate 1 baby/ toddler in addition with the use of the travel cot). Cot linen provided. A highchair is available if arranged prior to your stay.
Bedding & towels are provided for the duration of your stay. Please bring your own beach towels, the apartment will be cleaned after your stay. Additional cleaning can be provided if holidaying for more than 2 weeks if requested and agreed at the time of booking at €60 per clean.
Welcome Packs are available if requested and agreed at the time of booking €20 basic, including water, eggs, bread, milk and butter, tea, coffee, paid locally.
Whilst hiring a car is not necessary due to public transport links,to get the most from your holiday it is advised. If your holiday is about relaxation without the need to drive that works too.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron, ironing board, and all necessary utensils. A cool bag with ice packs is also available for use to take to the beach. 1st Aid box is also provided.
The open plan lounge/dining room also has air conditioning two settees, an LCD TV, a DVD player, a CD player.. Books and board games are provided for clients use.
Hot and cold air conditioning is installed without a meter; however the apartment design means that an ideal temperature throughout the year, cool in the summer and warm in the winter can be obtained. The ceiling fans installed should be all that is needed to cool you down at night. Continental quilts and throws are also available should they be needed for the winter months.
Keys will be dispatched when full payment has been received. Keys will be sent via Royal Mail recorded delivery service where applicable guests are expected to use the same service at their cost within 2 days of returning to the UK. Guests travelling from outside the UK - arrangements will be made for key pick up when you arrive.
£150.00 Security deposit is required – Refundable after property inspection (Standard Practice)
Loss of keys will be charged at 35 euros plus key cost paid locally to the representative.
Keys left on inside of door may require a locksmith which the representative will decide and advise cost accordingly
Strictly No Smoking except on the balcony - ashtrays are provided.
Additional cleaning charges will be charged if the apartment is not left in a satisfactory state after property inspection and will be taken out of the security deposit.

From Calahonda you could take a drive around the coast from Málaga to Marbella which is now one of the most cosmopolitan places of the Costa del Sol, with the most famous marina of the Mediterranean, Puerto Banus, where have anchored the most outstanding and legendary yachts. The centre of the jet-set, holiday residence or playground of princes, millionaires or members of the show business, is nowadays a spotless city with beautiful boulevards, parks and gardens and a historic centre with Moorish and Andalusian flavor.
You could also travel to Gibraltar, which is a duty-free shopper's heaven and still continues to offer duty free goods despite changes elsewhere in Europe. Prices at the airport, notably for tobacco and spirits, are among the least expensive in the world
It is an ideal base for visiting the many beautiful and cultral cities of Andalucia,all within 1-2 hours drive-Seville, Cadiz, Cordoba ,Granada, and Malaga.

Sitio De Calahonda, Mijas, Urbanizacion
Calahonda is one of the larger more attractive towns in Costa del Sol, stretching back from the coast up into the hills with several good shopping areas and a wide choice of restaurants, bars, sport and entertainment venues, and is situated on Mijas Costa. Mijas Costa is the coastline between the busy and fashionable resorts of Marbella and Fuengirola, both offering great holiday pursuits in their own distinctive ways. Puerto Banus with its fasionable shops and marina is only 15 minutes away from Calahonda.
There is a twice weekly street market and the local beach is safe with restaurants and bars close at hand, Calahonda has wide avenues of villas, town houses and low rise apartments and the public garden areas are pretty and spacious with the A7 inland toll motorway a short drive away.
Calahonda has is own harbour, Puerto Cabopino where you can take part in all kinds of water sports and activities such as sailing, wind surfing, parascending, kite surfing, boat trips, dolphin watching and diving.

"Bright, modern, clean apartment with fantastic views"
From the booking process onwards, the experience was fabulous. Our questions and requests were answered promptly and the owner helped wherever she could to make our stay enjoyable. The apartment was very modern and clean and there is a fantastic view from the terrace, we could see the rock of Gibraltar on clear days. There is plenty to do nearby - a small golf course just next to the urbanisation and tennis courts and gym across the road. We tried out Dos Leones restaurant within the complex (recommended by the owner) and were not disappointed, the rib eye steak was to die for. It's a short walk to the pool, but it is a lovely large pool with toilets by the side - don't forget the gate key like we did before you go! I would be happy to go back again and highly recommend this apartment.
