This property is all about location! Triana is a private gated community in the lower part of Calahonda where you can walk to the amazing beaches and traditional chiringuitos (beach bar/restaurant) situated at La Luna Beach and Royal Beach on the newly constructed Calahonda boardwalk.

All amenities including supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, butchers, hairdressers, post office and various other shops are just a 5 minutes walk away. And the local dining options afre endless: choose from traditional spanish, italian, chinese and teppanyaki to mexican, indian and even English! Triana de Calahonda is an excellent base for your holiday on the Costa del Sol, the complex is private and secluded with immaculate gardens and a clean inviting swimming pool, but within a stones throw you have many lively bars, cafes, restaurants and shops, a small golf course, tennis club and children´s play areas. Just a little further afield are some of Europe´s finest golf courses and other attractions such as Mijas village, Marbella and Puerto Banus, zoos, safari and aqua parks.

The house is ideal for families or groups of friends wanting to chill out, relax and enjoy the fabulous Costa del Sol climate with flexible sleeping accommodation for up to 6 adults plus a fold up bed, ideally suitable for a child or teenager. The large private enclosed garden at the back of the property is fabulous, children can run and play safely or adults can simply laze in the sunshine, and soak up the tranquility of Triana.

FURTHER DETAILS INDOORS

The house is tastefully furnished and decorated giving a bright and airy feel. It will suit young and old and comfortably sleeps up to 7 people, with four bedrooms, three on the first floor and the fourth bedroom is in the turret/attic. The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a double bed and en suite shower room. The second and third bedrooms each have a double bed. All these bedrooms enjoy sunny views to the garden. The fourth bedroom is accessed by a narrow stair case (not recommended for very young children or the less mobile) and has a fold up Z bed and opens out to the magnificent roof terrace.

There is a family bathroom on the first floor with a bath and a shower over it.

The living area downstairs is spacious yet cozy with two, flat screen TV with UK Free to air IPTV and DVD player, with French doors opening out to the garden. There is also a dining area with table and chairs which also look out to the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped and fitted with all modern appliances including dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer and microwave. There is also a downstairs WC.

There is a large, secluded and enclosed south facing garden to the back of the house having pretty shrubs and trees, with a great covered terraced area with patio dining table and chairs to enjoy al fresco dining. A stone build charcoal barbeque is at the bottome of the garden and there are 4 sun loungers provided.

The complex of Triana de Calahonda is very secure with electric gates operated by remote control. Just 27 houses form Triana and share the communal salt water pool and sunbathing area which rarely gets busy, even during the height of summer.

Each house has one allocated car parking space inside the complex although there is off street parking available immediately outside the entrance gates.

Sitio De Calahonda, Mijas

Calahonda is a small urbanization belonging to Mijas and has every amenity needed for a relaxing holiday, with safe beaches, many shops, banks, supermarkets, pharmacy, cafes, bars and restaurants of all types to suit all tastes. Triana is a pretty community in the heart of lower Calahonda, and from here it is just a 5 minute walk to the beach and all of these amenities.

A car is not essential for your holiday, as Calahonda has great facilities right on your door step with a nine hole par 3 golf course at La Siesta, a tennis club and gymnasium at Club del Sol, parks and children play areas plus there is the Calahonda Train, taking a circular route all around Calahonda which you can hop on and off at any point. There are many small beaches at Calahonda all with Chiringuitos (beach restaurant) where you can sample freshly caught fish, seafood and paella.

The delightful port of Cabopino is a 20 minute walk (or 5 mins in the car) and is fantastic place to chill out, relax in one of the marina bars and restaurants and watch the world drift by. The beach at Cabopino is a favourite local hot spot, where the bay is so shallow it is perfect for the little ones or there is a surf school and water sports for the older kids.

Calahonda is a superb base to enjoy a varied holiday on the Costa del Sol, being equidistant from both Marbella to the east and Fuengirola to the west, each just 10 minutes drive in the car or by the regular bus. Marbella old town and the famous Plaza de los Naranjos is worthy of a visit, the jet set of Puerto Banus is fascinating to people watch and the castle at Fuengirola has magnificent views of the coast. If you want to play golf at a world class course, then the options are endless but close by you have Santana, El Chaparral, La Cala Resort, Marbella Golf, Santa Clara, Rio Real, Los Naranjos, to name just a few.
