This lovely spacious apartment is set in the hills with seaviews enjoyed from a well furnished large south facing balcony. It is situated in a convenient location just 30 minutes from Malaga airport , 20 minutes from upmarket Marbella, and within easy reach of charming Mijas. Several beaches are close at hand, including Cabopino with its marine waterfront and restaurants. There are over 30 golf courses within easy driving distance.
The apartment is part of a quiet, secure complex and has the added benefit of a lift from the underground garage. Air conditioning is useful in high summer .

The apartment has the benefit of a high quality cream marble finish throughout. The lounge is very spacious, with patio doors leading onto a good sized balcony.There is a large en suite bathroom attached to the main bedroom, with twin wash hand basins, foot bath and bath with shower over. The rear bedroom has twin beds with a walk in shower and also wash hand basin.
The kitchen is well fitted and contains all the necessary equipment and utensils required, including a dishwasher, as well as a large fridge with freezer compartment above. The washing machine and extra sink are contained in the utility room off the kitchen.

The large pool is easily reached by lift taking you directly there. Sun loungers are provided for the pool area.
Welcome pack can be provided if required.
Baby cot and high chair available at extra charge on request.
Towels provided for bathroom, but please bring your own beach towel.
Mid stay clean/ change of towels and linen can be arranged at additional cost.
An extra charge may be made for use of the bed settee (suitable only for children)

The Andalucia region
The Costa del Sol enjoys more sunshine than any other Mediterranean region, and even in winter sunny days with temperatures reaching 20C can be expected. This, together with the historical towns such as Ronda, Mijas and Granada with its world famous Alhambra, and the Andalucian white pueblo villages in the mountains provides an ideal base for holidays at any time of the year.
Gibraltar with its spectacular Rock and Barbary apes also provides a haven for duty free shopping.
Should you be a golf fan, you will find approximately 30 courses in the area.
Sitio de Calahonda
Local activities include tennis (you can hire courts and equipment nearby) golf, walking, boat trips, and swimming. Many local villages have various religious festivals, such as Benalmadena Pueblo and Mijas several times a year, and especially during Semana Santa (Easter week). A favourite trip is to Istan in the mountains above Marbella, where you will find the real unspoilt Spain. The drive is an easy 30 minutes past large lakes and stunning scenery with views at every turn.
Further afield, day trips to Cordoba and Seville are feasible (a local coach tour company provides day trips if you want to leave the car behind). Granada is approximately 2 hours away by motorway and good roads. The lake district and El Chorro gorge provide spectacular scenery and are easily reached by car. Spectacular Ronda can be reached in just over an hour through stunning scenery, and is a firm favourite with our guests.
At Fuengirola, a 10 minute drive, is a large Water Park and a zoo for all the family. Boat trips can be enjoyed from Benalmadena Marina and Puerto Banus where an afternoon or evening can be spent admiring all the large boats owned by the rich and famous.
Marbella with its Casco Antiguo (old town) and the Plaza de Naranjas at its centre, can be reached in less than 20 minutes by car, or by reliable and cheap buses. A very pleasant stroll along the seafront can also be enjoyed.
La Cala, a 5 minute drive away, is the location for a large market on Wednesday and Saturday where bargains can be had!
Calahonda itself, a 2 minute drive, is home to many restaurants and bars and shops - you will be spoilt for choice! The nearest restaurant is one of our favourites, very reasonably priced, and is a 10 minute walk away, as are a further 2 restaurants and a small supermarket.

"Great Place to Stay......"
Wonderful large apartment and Wendy the owner has thought of everything. A car is a must and there is plenty of parking and the complex is all gated and we felt very safe. Swimming pool could be seen … More

"No the usual holiday let - far superior!"
The appartment is within an attractive, gated, complex on the outskirts of Calahonda. Do not expect the usual holiday let. This is a large, airy and beautifully furnished appartment, exceptionally clean and well equipt with an enormous balcony. In July the swimming pool was almost empty. Many places of interest to visit nearby and a superb spanish resturant only 400m away (up a slight hill!) British TV if you really need it and a lift to the appartment. A car is essential but there is parking.
