Home description
For a relaxing and peaceful holiday then Petras is the place for you! The fully self-catered studio is just 5 minutes from the Blue Flag beach! The property benefits from a patio, outdoor seating and a barbecue, so you can enjoy dining in the warm summer sun!
All linen is supplied and cleaned regularly. Owners live upstairs and are always available, making your holiday hassle free. The village is quiet and Sitia has more bars and restaurants.

The Crete region
Crete is good for hill walking and lovely gorges and beaches. The Cretans are very friendly and be sure to sample the local Raki and the Greek cuisine. Visit the archaeology sites and the wonderful churches. One hour drive to famous palm beach of Vai with a banana plantion which can be toured on the way.
Sitia / Petras area
Sitia is a working town with night life which is only a 20 min. walk. Sitia has a market day every Tuesday Sitia and Petras have lovely sandy beaches with Blue Flag status.Plenty of Taverns, bars, shops, banks and cinema . A good bus service to other towns in the area.
Petras is five minutes from the beach which has Blue Flag status and has just had a cafe/bar opened. It has an archaeology site which opened in 2006 which is two minutes from the studio.
How to get there
Fly to Iraklion and Bus or car hire to Sitia allow travel time 3Hrs , Petras or fly to Sitia and taxi to Petras.
