New build detached holiday Villa close to the town of Sitia. The Villa is within walking distance of the town and blue flag beach of Sitia in North East Crete. It has a large balcony with lovely views, a 4-seater jacuzzi for a cool plunge and a large flat garden with parking area. The location is semi-rural which provides a quiet, peaceful and relaxing environment. Above ground pools are also available on request.
The detached Villa contains new equipment for your self catering needs. It has 1 bedroom, but will sleep 4 with the inclusion of sofa beds in the lounge area. Air-conditioning in the bedroom and lounge area, 4-seater jacuzzi and DVD/T.V. are standard. 2 additional Villas are also available in the same location with similar facilities (contact owner for details).

The Crete region
Crete is a very diverse island and it is recommended to hire a car and travel to sample the many varied places of interest and natural beauty in Crete.
Important area for bird species associated with coastal cliffs and scrub as well as migrating birds.
The special birds of Crete include the Bearded Vulture, Bonelli's Eagle, Booted Eagle, Blue Rock Thrush, Griffon Vulture, Bee-Eaters, Scop's Owl, Red Footed Falcon's and Cory's Shearwater.
Sitia / Petras area
Sitia is an old Venetian town. It has a long, mainly sandy, blue flag beach. Sitia also has its own airport, harbour and ferry port. Restaurants are available around the harbour area and within the town. It is a working town, staying open all year round. The area is ideal for for a beach holiday or cycling, walking, fishing, chilling and relaxing. A quiet and beautiful area unspoilt by tourism.
How to get there
- Flights available from Heathrow, Gatwick, Bristol, Glasgow, Cardiff etc to Heraklion in Crete. Flights are also available to Sitia airport.
- Cheap flights can be obtained from: www.ba.com, www.dialaflight.com, www.olympic-airways.com and many charter airlines during the holiday season.
- Buses go direct regularly from Heraklion airport to Sitia Town. Transfer time 3.5 hours. Transfer time from Sitia airport to property is 10 minutes.
- Taxi from Heraklion to Sitia is available for 100 Euro's. Transfer time 2 hours.
- Flights from Heathrow via Athens direct to Sitia.
- Taxi from Sitia airport to accommodation is available for only 5 Euro's, approximately 5 minutes from accommodation.

Further details indoors: The detached property is a new build and all equipment inside of the Villa is new. The house is tiled throughout to a good standard. The Villa has a pation area with pergola and a large flat garden area.

Customer: John Simonson (feedback August 2006). We can thoroughly recommend these Villas. Our transaction with the owner was without fault. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers, and stayed the month of August. The Villas have air conditioning, satallite TV, Jacuzzi and a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ and many many extras that we didn't expect to have! Wonderful peaceful surroundings of Vineyards and incredibly cheap eating out at the many restaurants that the owner (Neil) had recommended. We hired a car to take advantage of the hundreds of jaw-dropping views, and incredible beaches of the surounding areas. A super, super faultless holiday. Thank's Neil.
