Cottage | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 7
Girasol is a wonderful family holiday home with a private and pretty garden and it's own plunge pool. The terraced house is of traditional Catalan style with beams and terracotta floors. The total living space is 200 square meters.
The private garden faces South and has different areas to eat around the pool. Open up the french doors and use the garden as part of the house !
The tiny hamlet of Les Torres has a wine making history which continues today. It is off the tourist track while being close to all the amenities.
It is possible to walk or cycle up into the hills of the Garraf Natural Park from the front door of the house.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia/Barcelona region
Catalonia is a very special and comparatively wealthy area of Spain with some of it's own regional cuisine.
There is a lot of interesting history attached to Catalonia and several large towns with Roman origins.
The climate is extremely acceptable all year round, with high temperatures and plenty of sun in the summer months.
The scenary is varied with the mountains inland and the beaches and sea in contrast.
The winemaking area of Penedes is located in Catalonia with it's famous Cava, there are consequently, many vineyards to visit and wines to taste !
Sitges is famous for it's history of artists and non-conformity ! Today this is still in part the case.
There are many and varied festivals and activities that take place in Sitges, from a huge carnaval at the start of Lent, to historic car runs, firework displays, parades, people 'castle-building' (where a tower is formed from people including the smallest children at the top!) and the flower festival in June when the streets are deorated with patterns of flowers ( Corpus Christi ).
This is apart from a wealth of boutique-style shops, a huge selection of restaurants, endless sandy beaches, numerous bars and clubs and beautiful 'modernista' buildings.
Sitges was originally a fishing village but has become a fashionable and exclusive resort.
Once you have soaked all of this up, there is the excitement of Barcelona only minutes away - the famous city with Gaudi architecture, beautiful buildings, art museums and a plethora of restaurants, bars and clubs.
As if this wasn't enough to occupy you, the Roman city of Tarragona is easily accessible by car or train, Puerta Aventura theme and adventure park is easily reached and Aqua Leon water park is even closer by, within 30 minutes drive.
