Located within easy reach of the wonderful village of Sissi. The villa has a private garden with beautiful views of the mountains. The villa is split into 2 apartments bookable independently or together.
Sleeps 6 comfortably. The villa has a brick barbeque with a private enclosed garden. The garden has established olive trees given a great outside ambience. Bougainvillea flows over the back fence.
The lounge incorporates a sofa bed to sleep 2 in comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped.
There is a wrap around terrace so you can follow the sun or the shade throughout the day. The house is built on an old olive grove and has several old olive trees in the garden. It's a perfect location for a family or a romantic break. Car hire is recommended and can be arranged if required with collection from the airport.
Smoking is not allowed inside the property however there are plenty of outside areas where you are free to smoke.

The Crete region
Crete is an island with an exquisite 1,000 kilometer-long coastline dotted with numerous coves, bays and peninsulas, which afford a multitude of soft, sandy beaches along the beautifully blue Mediterranean Sea. After all, it's among the finest in the world and has established Crete as one of Europe's most popular holiday destinations. And, of course, the island's historic importance in today's world as the home of the Minoan civilization with important archeological finds at Knossos, Phaistos and Gortys, is evidenced by the tens of thousands of visitors to these sites each year.
However, Crete is the largest island in Greece - the fifth largest in the Mediterranean - and, within its diverse area of more than 8,000 square kilometers, there are many other jewels just waiting to be discovered by the more adventurous explorers of holiday treasures.
If you haven't visited Crete yet, this summer may be the time to come and discover this fascinating Greek island. If it captures your heart, don't worry. The Lasithi area of Crete is a mix of stunning mountains surrounding the Lasithi Plateau and breathtaking beaches. Leaving the villa you can drive into the mountains in 15 minutes heading towards Vrachasi, a stunning mountain village. Alternatively you can head towards the ancient village of Mochos for a cold beer in one of their town square tavernas.
Malia and Stalis beach gives you all the toys like paragliding and water skiing.
Malia archaelogical beach is only 4 minutes away by car and is away from the crowds with golden beaches, serviced by a charming family run taverna.
You are a short drive from several important archaeolgical digs, the closest being Malia archaeological site, situated 1km away on the edge of the glorious sandy beach.
Heraklion with Knossos palace is under an hours drive.
Hersonissos provides the wonderful Black Rose Pirate Ship tour, 20 minutes drive away. You can be in the Lasithi Plateau exploring the Dichti cave, birthplace of Zeus in 30 minutes.
If you are after a gentle vacation Sissi is 5 minutes drive and has a choice of good sea view tavernas and a serviced beach. Sissi has local shops offering quality local produce and 2 well stocked supermarkets.
You can use the local hotel pools, they just like you to buy a beer.
The beautiful village of Elounda with trips to the historical pinnacle of Spanalonga and it's old leper colony are a 40 minute drive away.
Agios Nikolaus is only 30 minutes away offering all town facilities and tavernas surrounding the bottomless lake.
There is a Parrot park only a short drive away and Crete Aquarium is not far. There are lots for kids to do. The snorkeling in Sissi bay is fabulous.
