The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region
Sintra area has a micro clima .During the summer it is not extremely hot, but in winter time there is more humidity.
The surrounding area is fantastic, green several fantastic beaches. The historical town it is a must to visit because of its fantastic monuments : Palacio da Pena, Palacio da villa,Castle, Monserrat.
Please also try the traditional sweets from the area: queijadas and travesseiros. In the centre you can also buy several souvenirs. Close to Sintra on the way to Malveira you can also visit the famous Mafra Convent, and the museum of Jose franco where you can buy several clay products and also try the traditional liqueur.
Ericeira the famous fish town also to visit. There you can find the best fish restaurants. One Hour further there is also another fantastic historical town , Obidos, the traditional liqueur is Ginginha. Twice per year there is the chocolate festival.
Sintra / Colares area
This 4 bedroom holiday house is located in a residential and quiet area at the edge of the small village Colares. Just a 10 minute drive from Sintra and 20 minute drive to the famous towns of Cascais and Estoril.
Within short distance from three very popular beaches, Praia das Maçãs, Praia Grande and Praia da Adraga There are also several golf courses in the area: Beloura , Estoril, Penha Longa, Quinta da marinha The house is located at 1,5 km from the coast.
You can choose from three very popular beaches, Praia das Maçãs, Praia Grande and Praia da Adraga. They all have golden sand and tall dark stone clifs wich is very typical on the Portuguese western coast. Praia da Adraga - wild and wonderful, Praia Grande - great surfing and body boarding, and Praia das Maças - body boarding and good for families, are some of the best. Lifeguards are on duty from mid June to mid September. If you like walking, there is a walk that takes you to all the beaches along the cliff tops, with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean

Conditions
For the reservation we ask for 50% by bank transfer and the rest at the arrival date. We also ask at the arrival date for a security deposit of 200 euros. This security deposit is to be returned at the end of your staying if there are no damages inside the property. We accept pets but sometimes we ask an extra deposit according to the type of pet. Final cleaning of 55 euros is not included inside the price.
