About the home

This house is in the gardens of the historical Quinta da Piedade overlooking the valley towards the beaches.
The main house of the Quinta is from the 18th century.
The Quinta is in a very quiet area but only minutes away from museums, castles, shopping centres, golf coures, restaurants and night-life.
All redecorated in a classical but modern style.

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region

5 minutes away from the old city of Sintra (World monument) and also 5-7 minutes away from the several beaches like Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs, Praia da Adraga.

Very good restaurants, 8 golf courses within 30 minutes drive, a driving range 5 minutes away, 30 km from Lisbon with all cultural sights etc.

The Sintra / Colares area

There are lots of monuments, botanical gardens and museums to visit. Sintra is one of the nicest spots to plan a holiday. Before, already the kings spent there holidays in Sintra. Beaches, restaurants, especially excellent fish and shellfish restaurants are around the corner.

Cultural festivals or museums are within 10 minutes driving.

There are low cost airlines like Easy jet, Vuelling, Air Berlin coming to Lisbon. All main car rentals are at the airport. Renting in Portugal is cheap. Once you have your car you follow the signs to Sintra . Than look for the brown signs that say monuments. Hotel Seteais and Monserrat and then it is only 1 km away. It is a large Quinta painted in green with a huge staircase.
