This 2-bedroom cottage with private gardens and BBQ area is safe from public view, as it's accessed through a secure gate with intercom from a side street. It is the perfect mix of ancient and modern, taking the best from both worlds. The lounge evolves around a welcoming log fire, and it’s the centre of the house. The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region
Because Casa do LImoeiro is slap bang in the middle of the historical old town of Sintra, everything is local, and most of it is walking distance! The Pena Palace, the Castle, the Convent, the Botanical Gardens, the Museum of Modern Art. It is very easy to get to Lisbon, or to take the tram and go down to the seaside. If you're into shopping, there are several grand shopping centres close by, with all the big high street and fashion names, cinemas and restaurants all under one roof.
Sintra area
The cultural centre is also walking distance from the house and you can choose from ballet, theatre, classical or contemporary music, etc. Europe’s largest Casino at Estoril is close by and there are several high quality golf courses around, including the world famous Penha Longa. Water sports such surf, bodyboard and fishing are available at the local beaches and sailing from the Cascais Marina.
