With its extensive range of green bills with its crags - the Serra de Sintra - so picturesquely situated and offering stupendous views of the coastline with its impressive beauty, Sintra is indeed "a garden of the earthly paradise".
The potentialities of the Sintra district are not confined to the wild enchantments of the Serra, sometimes wreathed in mist, and to the artistic heritage of the Old Town, described by Byron as "the most pleasing in Europe", but also include valuable archaeological remains, particularly from the Roman period, ancient manor houses, churches of personalised artistic value and characteristic villages.

The golden sands, the pure Atlantic waters and the coastline with magnificent cliffs turn the Sintra beaches into real pleasure spots. Fishing, surfing and body-board are among the sports most commonly practiced along the Sintra coastline.
Most Sintra beaches are of a high quality, both regarding water tests and infrastructures. Besides the best-known beaches - Grande, Magoito, Maçãs and Adraga - there are others which are true paradises that should not be missed.
The Atlantic coast is rich in marine species, both animal and vegetable. Among the molluscs, for example, are octopus, cuttlefish and squid, mussels, limpets, clams and barnacles, among others. The crustaceans found here include various kinds of crab, including spider and rock crabs, lobster and rock lobster, the last two in zones further from the coast.

Upstairs a lounge with a fireplace and a stunning panoramic view to the beach, coast line and hill tops. Next to it a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
All decorated to high standard, in a fusion of traditional and modern taste. Very cosy and comfortable. The annexe is adjacent to the house, sharing same entrance, has a double bedroom, living room, kitchenette and bathroom.
Access directly to the beach from the property The front of the house has a pretty walled garden with various terraces to enjoy the views : beach; the surfers; sunset.Has another private patio with wonderful views of the hills and the sea with sun lounge’s, sun shades and patio furniture for relaxing. With the built-in barbeque guests can enjoy al fresco eating.
