Home description
The house is very spacious and lends itself to large group or family holidays. On the ground floor are the living and dining rooms, kitchen, garage and a large terrace with a small swimming pool. The first floor comprises four bedrooms, all with verandahs and plenty of storage space. And on the top floor, only available to bookings of more than eight, are two very large rooms with a shared bathroom, which can each comfortably sleep four people. The house not only has a barbecue, but a charming wood burning oven (to complement the conventional cooker in the kitchen) for delicious, simple and healthy meals.

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region
Costa de Lisboa has some of the best beaches in the whole of Europe and is the perfect place to come and relax. As the capital of Portugal is in this region you can expect a wealth of of cultural activities such as galleries and good eateries serving the best of local and international food. Away from the capital you can expect miles of pristine beaches with stunning views of the Atlantic ocean as well as quaint villages to explore.
Sintra / Magoito Beach area
This large house is built on the top of the cliffs at Magoito whose sandy beach stretches at its feet and enjoys a beautiful panorama of undeveloped coastline to the horizon. The views to the rear are of unspoilt countryside.
The beach of Magoito is a short walk away. The house is in the beautiful and green area of Sintra, with countryside stretching in all directions. Cascais and Lisbon are in the vicinity; historic Coimbra, Torres Vedras and Tomar are easy drives. The house provides an excellent base for relaxing holidays and exploring the area.
How to get there
Many airlines fly from the UK to Portugal, such as BA, TAP, Easy Jet, Monarch Local car hire is inexpensive. The house is 45 minutes drive from Lisbon airport and 3 hours from Faro airport in the Algarve
