Fully equipped for up to 6 persons, spectacular views over False bay and mountains, walking distance from boulders beach, golf, supermarket, restaurants, yacht club and historic naval (ex royal) Simonstown. Large indigenous garden, use of private swimming pool. Garage. Near Cape of Good Hope only 20 minutes by car ,40 km from Cape Town ,45 minutes to Cape Wine Area. The house is situated in a quiet street (6 houses in total) and in a safe area.

The Western Cape region

There is a lot of history (Dutch and English) in Simonstown and surroundings. Beautiful nature, botanical gardens in Kirstenbosch and Cape Town with Table Mountain. The famous wine regions of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl & Montague are nearby, where visitors can go for wine tasting and enjoy good food on the numerous wine-estates. Simonstown is also known for the penguins and whale watching. On the nearby Seal Island there are some 80.000 seals living.

Simonstown / Seaforth area

Simonstown is a small town with a rich history. It is located on the shores of the False Bay on the Eastern side of the beautiful Cape Peninsula. With its museums, the naval harbour and water front with restaurants and marina, there is lot's to see and do. Boulders beach were you can see the Penguins. Whale watching and boat trips to Seal Island. There are also lots of possibilities for outdoor activities like fishing, sailing, diving, hill walking / maintain-climbing etc. Cape Point Nature Reserve is nearby and Simonstown is only a 45 minute drive from Cape Town with all its attractions like Table Mountain and The Victoria and Alfred waterfront.

How to get there

We normally fly with British Airways they have direct flights from London to Cape Town.
Virgin Airways also gives a good service.
South African Airways has a direct service to Cape Town from London.
