This beautiful home (with pool, outdoor deck and magical views of Boulders Beach ) was the perfect location for a sun filled holiday swimming with the penguins and watching the whales and dolphins go by. it's upmarket yet exceptionally reasonably priced and can accommodate large families. safe and secure. It's a few minutes walk to the famous Boulders beach and 5 mins drive to the restaurants and shops of Simonstown. |

We were overwhelmed by the view of the ocean in front of us. Could have spent the entire time sitting on the lovely wooden balcony and looking out to sea. The location right behind the famous penguin colony at Boulders Beach was amazing. We even saw some stray penguins in the garden. The house is very spacious with big bed rooms and comfortable beds and a dining area. Its very cosy and comfortable and makes an excellent vacation house. There is a separate private unit downstairs which has acess from the main house. The house is also very well equipped. The kitchen has everything you need and more. There were even beach items for us to use. Theres also a lovely private pool if you dont want to cool off on the beach which is a stone throws away. I highly recommend it for those like me who enjoy the advantages of staying in a vacation house. It is excellent value and I would return again. I do recommend you have a car with you if you want to go out to the Simonstown restaurants to eat, although the kids did use the taxi service sometimes.Only problem ( really a minor issue ) I had was that there were too many keys and I couldnt figure out what went where . A great find in one of the most beautiful spots in the world! |

House is beautiful and beautifully situated. A minute's walk from the beach. Close enough to all the action of Cape Town, but also slightly outside of things in order to enjoy quiet down time too. Exquisite sea views. I have stayed many times both for breaks and also to complete writing my PHD. I'd highly recommend it. |
